Abstract

RESPONS PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL KEDELAI (Glycine max L.) TERHADAP PEMBERIAN KOMPOS PAITAN (Tithonia diversifolia) DAN PUPUK KANDANG AYAM. (Sopliani dibawah bimbingan Ibu Dra. Evita, M.S. dan Bapak Ir. Rinaldi, M.Si). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat respons pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai (Glycine max L.) terhadap pemberian kompos paitan (Tithonia diversifolia) dan pupuk kandang ayam dan mendapatkan dosis kompos paitan (Tithonia diversifolia) dan pupuk kandang ayam yang terbaik pada tanaman kedelai (Glycine max L.). Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan perlakuan kombinasi kompos paitan (Tithonia diversifolia) dan pupuk kandang ayam yang terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan yaitu: a0 = Urea 50kg; TSP 200kg; KCl 100kg, a1 = KP 5 ton ha-1 + PKA 0 ton ha-1, a2 = KP 5 ton ha-1 + PKA 5 ton ha-1, a3 = KP 5 ton ha-1 + PKA 10 ton ha-1, dan a4 = KP 5 ton ha-1 + PKA 15 ton ha-1. Variabel pengamatan terdiri dari tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang primer, umur berbunga, jumlah polong pertanaman, jumlah polong berisi pertanaman, bobot kering tajuk, bobot kering akar, bobot 100 biji, dan hasil per hektar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kombinasi kompos paitan dan pupuk kandang ayam dapat menggantikan penggunaan pupuk anorganik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai. Dosis kompos paitan 5 ton ha-1 + pupuk kandang ayam 5 ton ha-1 merupakan dosis terbaik yang ditunjukkan dari pengamatan tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang primer, umur berbunga, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong berisi pertanaman, bobot kering tajuk, dan bobot kering akar, bobot 100 biji dan hasil per hektar. This study aims to observe the growth and yield response of soybean (Glycine max L.) to the application of paitan compost (Tithonia diversifolia) and chicken manure and to obtain the best dosage of paitan compost (Tithonia diversifolia) and chicken manure on soybean plants (Glycine max L. .). The study was conducted using a randomized block design (RBD) with a combination treatment of paitan compost (Tithonia diversifolia) and chicken manure consisting of 5 treatment levels, namely: a0 = Urea 50kg; TSP 200kg; KCl 100kg, a1 = KP 5 tonnes ha-1 + PKA 0 tonnes ha-1, a2 = KP 5 tonnes ha-1 + PKA 5 tonnes ha-1, a3 = KP 5 tonnes ha-1 + PKA 10 tonnes ha-1 , and a4 = KP 5 tons ha-1 + PKA 15 tons ha-1. The observed variables consisted of plant height, number of primary branches, flowering age, number of pods planted, number of pods filled with plants, shoot dry weight, root dry weight, 100 seed weight, and yield per hectare. The results showed that the application of a combination of paitan compost and chicken manure could replace the use of inorganic fertilizers in increasing the growth and yield of soybean plants. The dose of paitan compost 5 tons ha-1 + chicken manure 5 tons ha-1 is the best dose shown from the observation of plant height, number of primary branches, flowering age, number of pods per plant, number of pods filled with plants, crown dry weight, and weight root dry, 100 seed weight and yield per hectare.
