Abstract

Abstrak Latar Belakang : Demam berdarah dengue masih menjadi persoalan kesehatan masyarakat yang serius di Indonesia. Jumlah kasus DBD di Kota Jambi semakin tinggi setiap tahunnya mencapai 293 pada tahun 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pendidikan, tempat penampungan air, sistem pengelolaan sampah dan perilaku pemberantasan sarang nyamuk (PSN) dengan kejadian DBD di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Paal Lima Kota Jambi tahun 2022. Metode : Desain penelitian ini adalah Case Control, penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kasus dan kontrol, dimana populasi pada penelitian ini adalah jumlah penderita kasus DBD pada tahun 2022 di wilayah kerja puskesmas Paal Lima dengan jumlah 17 sampel kasus dan 17 sampel kontrol sehinggal total sampel menjadi 34 sampel. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil : Peneliti menemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara tempat penampungan air nilai p-value (0,000) [(OR = 35) (95%CI = 5,071-241,558) , sistem pengelolaan sampah dengan nilai p-value (0,012) [(OR = 10) (95%CI = 1,837-62,491) dan perilaku pemberantasan sarang nyamuk (PSN) dengan nilai p-value (0,002) [(OR = 15,1) (95%CI = 2,837-81,095). Tidak terdapat hubungan antara pendidikan dengan nilai p-value (1,000) [(OR = 1,0) (95%CI= 0,245-4,083). Kesimpulan : tempat penampungan air, sistem pengelolaan sampah dan perilaku pemberantasan sarang nyamuk (PSN) meningkatkan risiko kejadian DBD , maka dilakukan peningkatan edukasi sanitasi lingkungan terutama tempat penampungan air sistem pengelolaan sampah dan Perilaku Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk (PSN). There is no relationship between education and the p-value (1.000) [(OR = 1.0) (95%CI= 0.245-4.083). Conclution : water reservoirs, waste management systems and mosquito nest eradication behaviors (PSN) increase the risk of DHF incidents, so education on environmental sanitation is carried out, especially water storage areas for waste management systems and mosquito nest eradication behaviors (PSN).
