Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui gambaran usahatani padi sawah di Kecamatan Danau Teluk Kota Jambi, 2) Menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan faktor luas lahan, status lahan, benih dan tenaga kerja terhadap produksi padi sawah dan mengukur tingkat efisiensi teknis usahatani padi sawah di Kecamatan Danau Teluk Kota Jambi, 3) Menganalisis faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan terjadinya inefisiensi teknis usahatani padi sawah di Kecamatan Danau Teluk Kota Jambi. Jumlah petani sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 76 petani. Metode analisis data dengan menggunakan metode analisis stochastic frontier dengan alat bantu software frontier 4.1. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa 1) Usahatani padi sawah di daerah penelitian dimulai dari kegiatan pengolahan lahan sampai pasca panen dengan rata-rata luas lahan yaitu 0,6 Ha. 2) Faktor luas lahan, tenaga kerja berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi padi sawah di Kecamatan Danau Teluk sedangkan faktor status lahan, benih tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi padi sawah dengan tingkat efisiensi teknis sebesar 0,64 atau belum efisien secara teknis. 3) Faktor pendidikan terakhir petani berpengaruh nyata terhadap inefisiensi teknis pada usahatani padi sawah di Kecamatan Danau Teluk, sedangkan faktor umur petani dan pengalaman usahatani tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap inefisiensi teknis. Kata Kunci: Usahatani Padi Sawah, Produksi, Efisiensi Teknis, Inefisiensi Teknis ABSTRACT This study aims to: 1) Know the picture of paddy rice farming in Teluk Lake District, Jambi City, 2) Analyze the effect of using land area, land status, seeds and labor factors on rice production and measure the level of technical efficiency of paddy rice farming in Danau Teluk District Jambi City, 3) Analyze what factors cause technical inefficiencies in rice farming in Teluk Lake District, Jambi City. The number of sample farmers in this study was 76 farmers. Data analysis method using stochastic frontier analysis method with frontier 4.1 software tools. Based on the results of the study, it shows that 1) Rice farming in the study area starts from land processing activities to post-harvest with an average land area of 0.6 Ha. 2) Land area factors, labor have a real effect on rice production in Teluk Lake District, while land status factors, seeds do not have a real effect on rice production with a technical efficiency level of 0.64 or not yet technically efficient. 3) The last education factor of farmers has a real effect on technical inefficiencies in rice farming in Teluk Lake District, meanwhile, the age factor of farmers and farm experience does not have a real effect on technical inefficiencies.
