Abstract

Tanaman mantangan (Merremia peltata) merupakan tanaman merambat atau tanaman yang tumbuh menjalar. Ditinjau dari produksi dan nilai gizi, mantangan sangat potensi dijadikan sebagai pakan ternak. Wafer merupakan salah satu bentuk pakan ternak yang merupakan modifikasi bentuk cube, dalam proses pembuatannya mengalami proses pencampuran, pemadatan dan pemanasan. Penyimpanan pakan perlu dilakukan seiring dengan perkembangan usaha bidang peternakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama waktu penyimpanan wafer ransum komplit berbasis mantangan terhadap kandungan BK, PK, NDF, ADF dan hemiselulosa. Percobaan dilaksanakan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dievaluasi adalah WRK dengan lama penyimpanan yaitu P0: penyimpanan 0 hari, P1: penyimpanan 30 hari, P2: penyimpanan 60 hari, P3: penyimpanan 90 hari. Data dianalisis ragam (ANOVA) sesuai rancangan dalam percobaan RAL. Jika terdapat pengaruh yang nyata maka dilakukan Uji Duncan. Analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kandungan PK, ADF dan hemiselulosa tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kandungan BK, dan NDF. Disimpulkan bahwa lama penyimpanan berpengaruh nyata terhadap kandungan protein kasar, ADF, dan hemiselulosa tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kandungan bahan kering, dan NDF. The ransom plant (Merremia peltata) is a vine or plant that grows creepingly. Judging from production and nutritional value, exganus has great potential to be used as animal feed. Wafers are a form of animal feed which is a modification of the cube shape, in the manufacturing process it undergoes a process of mixing, compacting and heating. Feed storage needs to be done in line with the development of livestock businesses. This research aims to determine the effect of storage time for ex-gane-based complete ration wafers on the DM, PK, NDF, ADF and hemicellulose content. The experiment was carried out using a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment evaluated was WRK with storage duration, namely P0: 0 days storage, P1: 30 days storage, P2: 60 days storage, P3: 90 days storage. Data were analyzed for variance (ANOVA) according to the design in the RAL experiment. If there is a real influence, the Duncan Test is carried out. Analysis of variance showed that the treatment had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the PK, ADF and hemicellulose contents but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the DM and NDF contents. It was concluded that storage time had a significant effect on the crude protein, ADF and hemicellulose content but had no significant effect on the dry matter and NDF content.
