Abstract
ABSTRAK Arthropoda merupakan salah satu organisme yang hidup di sekitar tanaman pertanian dan berperan penting sebagai perusak dan musuh alami. Arthropoda memiliki beberapa kelas: Arachnida, Insecta, Myriopoda, Crustacea, Onychophora. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat keanekaragaman jenis dan populasi arthropoda pada ubi jalar di Desa Mekar Sari, Kecamatan Kumpeh Uluh, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Pengambilan sampel arthropoda dilakukan dengan pitfall trap, yellow pan trap dan observasi langsung. Data yang diperoleh dijawab dan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan statistik menggunakan indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener (H'), indeks kemerataan Shannon Evenness dan indeks dominasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ditemukan 391 individu yang termasuk dalam 2 kelas, 9 ordo, 26 familli, dan 46 spesies. Spesies arthropoda yang paling umum adalah Condylostylus longicornis dan Condylotylus patibulatus (Diptera: Dolichopodidae) dan Altica cyaena (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae), Cylas formacarius (Coleoptera : Brentidae). Nilai indeks keanekaragaman artropoda per kehidupan tanaman ubijalar pada 30 hst sebesar 1,90, 60 hst sebesar 1,92 dan 100 hst sebesar 2,50. Nilai indeks kemerataan 30 hst sebesar 0,60, 60 hst 0,60 dan 100 hst 0,80. Indeks dominasi 30 hst sebesar 0,23, 60 hst 0,18 dan 100 hst 0,10. ABSTRACK The arthropod is one of the organisms that live around agricultural crops and is important as a destroyer and as a natural enemy. Arthropods have several classes: Arachnida, Insecta, Myriopoda, Crustacea, Onychophora. The study aims to look at the level of diversity of species and populations of arthropoda on sweet potato in the village of Mekar Sari Prefecture Kumpeh Uluh district of Muaro Jambi. Arthropod sampling was done with pitfall traps, yellow pan traps and direct observation. The data obtained was answered and analyzed descriptively and statistically using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H'), Shannon Evenness redness index and dominance index. The results showed that 391 individuals were found belonging to 2 classes, 9 orders and 26 familli and 46 species. The most common arthropodic species are Condylostylus longicornis and Condylotylus patibulatus (Diptera: Dolichopodidae) and Altica cyaena (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae), Cylas formacarius (Coleoptera : Brentidae).
