Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to analyze how the widespread influence of harvest, labor, rice imports, and rice prices affect rice production in indonesia. This type of research uses multiple regression, with descriptive research with quantitative approach. the data used is time series data for the period 2003-2022 and is processed using the ordinary least square (OLS) method. The result showed that the variables of harvest area, labor, and rice prices had a positive and significant effect on rice production in Indonesia. Meanwhile, variable rice imports have a negative and insignificant effect on rice production in Indonesia. Where the independen variable (area of heavest, labor, rice imports, rice price) to the dependent variable (rice production) is statistically significant at alpha 10% and confidence level of 99%.
