Abstract

Background: The prevalence of LBP in Indonesia itself ranges from 7.6% -37% throughout Indonesia. The prevalence of LBP for the Jambi area according to Riskesdas, 2018, the number of back pain in 2018 was 8.67%, Sarolangun Regency had a prevalence of LBP (11.66%). Sarolangun is an area that has the 3rd largest mining area in Jambi Province after Batanghari Regency.. This study aims to analyze the determinants of Low Back Pain in Coal Transport Truck Drivers at PT. Caritas Energi Indonesia in 2024. Method: This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design. Conducted in November 2023 – January 2024 with the population in this study being 710 coal truck drivers. Using the Accidental Sampling sampling technique using the lemeshow formula and using chi square analysis with a confidence level of 95% (α= 0.05). The sample in this study consisted of 85 coal truck drivers. Results: The results of research on the incidence of low back pain in coal truck drivers found that the proportion of drivers who experienced LBP was 29.4%. There is a relationship between age (p-value = 0.006) and physical activity (p-value = 0.001) with the incidence of low back pain in coal transport truck drivers. There is no relationship between BMI (p-value = 0.962), Work Posture (p-value = 0.099), Years of Work (p-value = 0.092), and Psychology (p-value = 0.261) with the Incident of LBP in Truck Drivers Coal Transportation. Conclusion: There is a relationship between age and physical activity on the incidence of low back pain in PT coal truck drivers. Caritas Energy Indonesia. Key words: LBP, Age, BMI, Work Posture, Work Periode Latar Belakang: Prevalensi kejadian LBP di Indonesia sendiri yaitu berkisar antara 7,6%-37% di seluruh Indonesia. Prevalensi kejadian LBP untuk daerah Jambi menurut Riskesdas, 2018 jumlah penyakit nyeri punggung pada Tahun 2018 sebesar 8,67%, Kabupaten Sarolangun memiliki prevalensi LBP(11,66%). Sarolangun merupakan daerah yang memiliki tambang terluas ke-3 di Provinsi Jambi setelah Kabupaten Batanghari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meganalisis determinan Kejadian LBP pada Sopir Truk Pengangkutan Batubara di PT. Caritas Energi Indonesia pada Tahun 2024. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 710 sopir truk angkutan batubara. Menggunakan Teknik pengambilan sampel Accidental Sampling dengan menggunakan rumus lemeshow dan menggunakan analisis chi square. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 85 sopir truk angkutan batubara. Hasil: Hasil penelitian Kejadian Low Back pain pada sopir truk pengangkutan batubara didapatkan proporsi sopir yang mengalami LBP adalah 29,4%. Ada hubungan antara Usia (p-value = 0,006) dan Aktivitas Fisik (p-value=0,001) dengan Kejadian LBP terhadap Sopir Truk Pengangkutan Batubara. Tidak ada hubungan antara IMT (p-value = 0,962), Postur Kerja (p-value = 0,099), Masa Kerja (p-value = 0,092), dan Psikologi (p-value = 0,261) dengan Kejadian LBP terhadap Sopir Truk Pengangkutan Batubara. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara usia dan aktivitas fisik terhadap kejadian low back pain pada sopir truk pengangkutan batubara PT. Caritas Energi Indonesia. Tidak ada hubungan antara Indeks massa tubuh, postur kerja, masa kerja, dan psikologi terhadap kejadian low back pain pada sopir truk pengangkutan batubara PT. Caritas Energi Indonesia.
