Abstract

Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk menganalisis nilai pendapatan usahatani padi sawah di Desa Sri Agung Kecamatan Batang Asam. 2) Untuk menganalisis kesejahteraan petani padi sawah di Desa Sri Agung Kecamatan Batang Asam. 3) Untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pendapatan petani dan kesejahteraan petani padi di Desa Sri Agung Kecamatan Batang Asam. Teknik dalam pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan rumus dari Slovin atau Taro Yamane dalam Ridwan (2010). Sehingga hasilnya dapat di evaluasi secara obyektif dengan persesi 10% sehingga mendapatkan unit observasi yaitu 83 petani responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif dan analisis Uji Chi-Square dengan Kontingensi 3x3. Dari hasil uraian analisis dan pembahasan maka dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1) Nilai pendapatan petani yang berasal dari usahatani padi sawah di Desa Sri Agung tergolongan berpendapatan tinggi. 2) Kesejahteraan petani di Desa Sri Agung termasuk dalam kategori sejahtera, dimana rata-rata pengeluaran pangan < 50 % dari total pengeluaran di daerah penelitian. 3) Terdapat derajat hubungan yang signifikan antara faktor determinan yaitu pendapatan usahatani padi sawah dengan kesejahteraan petani padi di Desa Sri Agung. Berdasarkan hasil uji Chi-Square diperoleh hasil hipotesis tolak H_0 terima H_1 artinya: terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pendapatan dengan kesejahteraan petani padisawah di Desa Sri Agung. Kata Kunci: Usahatani, Pendapatan, Kesejahteraan, Padi Sawah The objectives of this study are: 1) To analyze the income value of paddy rice farming in Sri Agung Village, Batang Asam District. 2) To analyze the welfare of rice paddy farmers in Sri Agung Village, Batang Asam Subdistrict. 3) To analyze the relationship between farmers' income and the welfare of rice farmers in Sri Agung Village, Batang Asam Subdistrict. The sampling technique was carried out using the formula from Slovin or Taro Yamane in Ridwan (2010). So that the results can be evaluated objectively with 10% percentages so as to get an observation unit of 83 respondent farmers. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis method and Chi-Square Test analysis with 3x3 Contingency. From the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded as follows: 1) The value of farmers' income derived from rice paddy farming in Sri Agung Village is categorized as high income. 2) The welfare of farmers in Sri Agung Village is included in the prosperous category, where the average food expenditure <50% of total expenditure in the study area. 3) There is a significant degree of relationship between the determinant factor that is the income of rice paddy farming with the welfare of rice farmers in Sri Agung Village. Based on the results of the Chi-Square test obtained hypothesis results reject H_0 accept H_1 means: there is a significant relationship between income with the welfare of rice paddy farmers in Sri Agung Village.
