Abstract

Abstrak Dalam rangka menunjang pelaksanaan program penyelarasan pendidikan dengan dunia kerja, dan menyiapkan lulusan Perguruan Tinggi (PT) untuk bersaing di pasar kerja yang makin kompetitif, Perguruan Tinggi (PT) harus memfasilitasi upaya peningkatan kebekerjaan (employability) lulusannya. Tracer study sangat diperlukan guna mendukung pengumpulan data dari seluruh perguruan tinggi di Indonesia, yang pada gilirannya kelak, akan menjadi dasar bagi pengambilan kebijakan baik di perguruan tinggi maupun di Kemenristekdikti. Universitas Jambi telah memiliki Career Center (pusat karier) dan Tracer study yang dikembangkan oleh Unit Pelaksanaan Teknis (UPT) Pengembangan Kemahasiswaan. Pada website tersebut dijadikan sebagai tempat penyediaan data, informasi dunia kerja alumni dan penelusuran lulusan/alumni (tracer study) serta memiliki menu yang terbatas. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut maka diperlukan sebuah pengembangan kembali dari sistem pusat karir dan tracer study di Universitas Jambi. Dengan melakukan Analisis dan Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pusat Karier dan Tracer study di Universitas Jambi Menggunakan Model Prototype. Prototype dipilih dengan alasan sejauh ini belum ada proses perancangan sistem informasi pusat karier dan tracer study yang Universitas Jambi . Kemudian, menggunakan model prototype juga diharapkan dapat mengetahui tujuan dan kebutuhan pengguna mencapai tujuan dalam mengakses sistem tersebut dan menghasilkan rancangan sistem dalam bentuk prototype yang baik sehingga dapat direkomendasikan dan diimplementasikan. Rancangan ini disediakan untuk actor jobseeker, admin Unit Pelaksanaan Teknis (UPT) Pengembangan Kemahasiswaan, admin prodi, daan employer. Menghasilkan fitur dan menu yang dirancang untuk Sistem Infromasi Pusat Karier dan Tracer study ini dengan menu utamanya adalah melamar pekerjaan dan merekrut jobseeker dan kelebihan di rancangan ini bias membuat CV jobseeker. Kata Kunci : Pusat Karier, Tracer Study, Pekerjaan, Prototype Analysis and Design of the Career Center Information System and Tracer Study at Jambi University Using a Prototype Model Abstract In order to support the implementation of programs to align education with the world of work, and prepare higher education (PT) graduates to compete in an increasingly competitive job market, higher education institutions (PT) must facilitate efforts to increase the employability of their graduates. Tracer studies are very necessary to support data collection from all universities in Indonesia, which, in turn, will become the basis for policy making both at universities and the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. Jambi University has a Career Center and Tracer study developed by the Student Development Technical Implementation Unit (UPT). This website is used as a place to provide data, information on the world of work for alumni and search for graduates/alumni (tracer study) and has a limited menu. Based on this background, it is necessary to re-develop the career center and tracer study system at Jambi University. By carrying out Analysis and Design of the Career Center Information System and Tracer study at Jambi University Using a Prototype Model. The prototype was chosen for the reason that so far there has been no process for designing an information system for the career center and tracer study at Jambi University. Then, using the prototype model is also expected to be able to find out the goals and needs of users to achieve their goals in accessing the system and produce a system design in the form of a good prototype so that it can be recommended and implemented. This design is provided for jobseeker actors, Student Development Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) admins, study program admins, and employers. Produce features and menus designed for the Career Center Information System and Tracer Study, with the main menu being applying for jobs and recruiting jobseekers and the advantages of this design are that it can create a jobseeker CV.
