Abstract

Kesadaran pelaporan pelaksanaan pengelolaan limbah B3 oleh pihak perhotelan masih sangat jauh dari yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis dan jumlah limbah B3, mengidentifikasi pengelolaan limbah B3 berdasarkan PP No. 22 Tahun 2021, serta strategi SWOT pengelolaan limbah B3 pada industri perhotelan Kota Jambi. Metode penelitian adalah mixed methode. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara terbuka dengan menggunakan kuesioner, dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua jenis informan yaitu pakar sebanyak 5 orang dan pihak hotel sebanyak 36 informan, dengan kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: Jenis limbah B3 di perhotelan yaitu oli bekas dengan jumlah terbanyak yaitu 0,786 ton, dan paling sedikit yaitu kain majun bekas sebanyak 0,009 ton. Hasil penilitian juga menunjukkan bahwa hotel penghasil limbah B3 terbanyak yaitu hotel bintang 5 sebesar 0,752 ton. Tahapan pengelolaan limbah B3 yang terlaksana di industri perhotelan yaitu tahapan pengurangan dan tahapan penyimpanan; Dalam diagram SWOT masuk pada kuadran II, yaitu gabungan strategi antara kekuatan dengan ancaman (Strategi ST) yaitu Peraturan daerah ini berdasarkan dari peraturan pemerintah pusat, adanya sanksi administrasi bagi pihak hotel, mengurangi penggunaan limbah B3 diperhotelan, menyiapkan TPS limbah B3 bukan di campur dengan sampah lainnya, pemerintah bekerja sama dengan pihak ke tiga untuk pengelolaan limbah B3, mengajak masyarakat untuk menjaga lingkungan hidup. Kata Kunci : Pengelolaan, Limbah Bahan Berbahaya dan Beracun, dan Strategi SWOT Awareness of reporting on the implementation of B3 waste management by hotels is still very far from expectations. This research aims to identify the type and amount of B3 waste, identify B3 waste management based on government regulations number 22 of 2021, as well as the SWOT strategy for B3 waste management in the Jambi City hotel industry. The research method is a mixed method. The research technique was carried out by means of open interviews using questionnaires, documentation and literature studies. This research used two types of informants, namely 5 experts and 36 hotel staff, with a questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The results of this research are: The type of B3 waste in hotels is used oil with the highest amount, namely 0.786 tonnes, and the smallest amount is used cloth, amounting to 0.009 tonnes. The research results also show that the hotels that produce the most B3 waste are 5-star hotels, amounting to 0.752 tons; The stages of B3 waste management implemented in the hotel industry are the reduction stage and the storage stage; In the SWOT diagram it is included in quadrant II, namely a combination of strategies between strengths and threats (ST Strategy), namely this regional regulation is based on central government regulations, there are administrative sanctions for hotels, reducing the use of B3 waste in hotels, preparing TPS for B3 waste instead of in mixed with other waste, the government collaborates with third parties to manage B3 waste, inviting the public to protect the environment.
