Abstract

ABSTRAK Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II merupakan salah satu cagar alam yang ada di Provinsi Jambi. Berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Menteri Kehutanan RI No.821/Kpts-II/1997 dengan luas 41,37 hektar. Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II memiliki ekosistem yang lengkap dan keanekaragaman hayati yang tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua jenis data berupa data primer dan sekunder. Data primer merupakan data yang diperoleh langsung di lapangan. Data primer pada penelitian ini yaitu jenis-jenis reptil, jumlah individu, suhu udara, kelembapan udara dan substrat ditemukan nya sampel dilapangan. Data sekunder berasal dari pustaka, hasil penelitian sebelumnya, jurnal, buku, dan sumber informasi yang dapat dipertanggung jawabkan keasliannya serta data-data yang diperoleh dari instansi pemerintah berupa data kawasan dan peta administrasi yang dapat mendukung penelitian untuk melengkapi data primer yang diambil dilapangan. Jenis reptile yang ditemukan yaitu sub ordo Sarpentes dan Sauria. Pada penelitian di lapangan pada malam dan pagi hari jumlah reptile yang ditemukan sebanyak 25 Individi dari 9 Famili. Hasil tersebut didapatkan menggunakan metode Visual Encounter Survey (VES) dengan dikombinasikan metode Perposive Sampling dan ditambahkan jebakan media botol Plastik. Pada penelitian ini total jenis reptil yang ditemukan sebanyak 25 individu yang terdiri dari dua subordo, yaitu serpentes dan sauria. Subordo Sauria meliputi 3 famili, yaitu kadal (Scincidae), biawak (Varidae), Bunglon (Agamidae) sedangkan subordo Serpentes meliputi 6 famili diantaranya ular terbang (Colubridae), sanca (Phytonidae), ular pelangi (Xenopetidae). Kata kunci :Reptil, Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II ABSTRACT Durian Luncuk II Nature Reserve is one of the nature reserves in Jambi Province. Based on the Decree of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia No.821/Kpts-II/1997 with an area of 41.37 hectares. Durian Luncuk II Nature Reserve has a complete ecosystem and high biodiversity. This research uses two types of data in the form of primary and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained directly in the field. The primary data in this study are the types of reptiles, number of individuals, air temperature, air humidity and the substrate samples found in the field. Secondary data comes from libraries, results of previous research, journals, books and sources of information whose authenticity can be verified as well as data obtained from government agencies in the form of regional data and administrative maps which can support research to complement primary data taken in the field. The types of reptiles found were the sub orders Sarpentes and Sauria. During field research at night and in the morning, the number of reptiles found was 25 individuals from 9 families. These results were obtained using the Visual Encounter Survey (VES) method combined with the Perposive Sampling method and added plastic bottle media traps. In this study, a total of 25 types of reptiles were found consisting of two suborders, namely serpentes and sauria. The Sauria suborder includes 3 families, namely lizards (Scincidae), monitor lizards (Varidae), chameleons (Agamidae) while the Serpentes suborder includes 6 families including flying snakes (Colubridae), pythons (Phytonidae), rainbow snakes (Xenopetidae).
