Abstract
PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN PROBIO_FM DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP KUALITAS INTERIOR TELUR BURUNG PUYUH (Coturnix coturnix Japonica) Aliza Zoales, dibawah bimbingan Nurhayati1) dan Nelwida2) RINGKASAN Probiotik (Probio_FM) merupakan probiotik cair yang mengandung beberapa bakteri asam laktat yang merupakan hasil dari isolasi mikroba yang diambil dari saluran pencernaan itik kerinci. Probio_FM memiliki fungsi meningkatkan produktivitas ternak, yakni dengan meningkatnya bobot badan puyuh, nafsu makan, dan juga dapat mengurangi biaya produksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan Probio_FM dalam pakan terhadap kualitas interior telur puyuh (Coturnix-coturnix japonica) yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Lopak Aur, RT no. 06 Kecamatan Pemayung Kabupaten Batang Hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan 200 ekor burung puyuh umur 6 minggu, yang dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan yaitu P0 (pakan tanpa probio_FM), P1 (pakan mengandung 15 ml probio_FM), P2 (pakan mengandung 30 ml probio_FM), P3 (pakan 45 ml probio_FM), P4 (pakan 60 ml probio_FM) dan 5 ulangan. Peubah yang diamati yaitu konsumsi pakan, bobot telur, indeks putih telur, haught unit, warna kuning telur. Data yang diperoleh dihitung dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan Probio_FM ke dalam pakan sampai 60 ml/kg berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi pakan.Tetapi berat telur, indeks putih telur, haugt unit, dan warna kuning telur berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05). Konsumsi pakan pada penelitian ini berkisar 18,49-20,47 gram/ekor/hari, berat telur 10,63-10,83, indeks putih telur berkisar 0,140-0,150,haugt unit berkisar 77,96-81,97, sedangkan warna kuning telur berkisar 3,18-3,25. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan probio_FM dalam pakan dapat dilakukan sampai 30 ml/kg pakan, tanpa menurunkan kualitas interior telur yang dihasilkan. Kata Kunci: Berat Telur, Haught Unit, Indeks Putih Telur, Probio FM, Warna Kuning Telur 1) Pembimbing Utama 2) Pembimbing Pendamping EFFECT OF PROBIO_FM ADDITION IN FEED ON THE INTERIOR QUALITY OF QUAIL EGGS (Coturnix coturnix Japonica) Aliza Zoales, under the guidance of Nurhayati1) and Nelwida2) SUMMARY Probiotic (Probio_FM) is a liquid probiotic containing several lactic acid bacteria which are the result of microbial isolation taken from the digestive tract of kerinci ducks. Probio_FM has the function of increasing livestock productivity, namely by increasing quail body weight, appetite, and can also reduce production costs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of Probio_FM in feed on the interior quality of quail eggs (Coturnix-coturnix japonica) produced. This research was conducted in Lopak Aur Village, RT no. 06 Pemayung District, Batang Hari Regency. This study used 200 quails aged 6 weeks, which were designed using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments namely P0 (feed without probio_FM), P1 (feed containing 15 ml probio_FM), P2 (feed containing 30 ml probio_FM), P3 (feed 45 ml probio_FM), P4 (feed 60 ml probio_FM) and 5 replicates. The observed variables were feed consumption, egg weight, egg white index, haught unit, yolk color. The data obtained were calculated and analyzed using analysis of variance. The results showed that the addition of Probio_FM to feed up to 60 ml/kg had a significant effect (P<0.05) on feed consumption, but egg weight, egg white index, haught unit, and yolk color had no significant effect (P>0.05). Feed consumption in this study ranged from 18.49-20.47 grams/head/day, egg weight 10.63-10.83, egg white index ranged from 0.140-0.150, haugt unit ranged from 77.96-81.97, while egg yolk color ranged from 3.18-3.25. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the addition of probio_FM in feed can be done up to 30 ml/kg feed, without reducing the interior quality of the eggs produced.
