Abstract

PT Perkebunan Nusantara VI Usaha Kayu Aro as a company operates in the Plantation Sector, which has no level of risk action and control (inherent risk) is quite large. Based on p It is necessary to identify hazards and risk assessments for prevent and reduce the potential for work accidents to occur for the company achieve the K3 program goal, namely (Zero accident) or a situation where a The company is able to reduce the occurrence of work accidents. In accordance with the wishes of the company and the workers in the company. The method used in this research is method HIRARC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment And Risk Control), is a combination of hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control is a method of preventing or minimizing work accidents. The results of this research are the dangers that exist in tea processing activities at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VI Aro wood unit, namely noise from the blower machine, installation exposed electricity, holes in the floor and slippery, rainwater drainage channels which is not closed, the vanbelt chain is open and there is no safety for it rotating machine, insufficient air circulation, open trench drain, FBD and FSD machines circulate hot air, crushed by product, insufficient lighting. Dangers inherent in tea processing activities at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VI Kayu Aro Unit has a low risk level, moderate risk to high risk. There is a high level of risk in noise hazards blower machine, open electrical installation and no switch cover, The air conditioning humidifer is always on which causes the floor it becomes slippery, there is dust flying around, there is no safety For rotating machines, there is dust flying around.
