Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair daun gamal terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao dan untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair daun gamal yang memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik bibit kakao di polybag. Konsentrasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah 0, 100 mL L-1, 200 mL L-1, 300 mL L-1, 400 mL L-1, dan 500 mL L-1. Penelitian disusun menurut Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 ulangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pemberian POC daun gamal dengan konsentrasi terbaik 200 mL L-1 memberikan pengaruh terhadap variabel tinggi bibit kakao dan jumlah daun, dan memberikan pengaruh tidak nyata pada variabel diameter batang, bobot kering tajuk, bobot kering akar dan rasio tajuk akar. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing and studying the effect of giving liquid organic fertilizer of gamal leaves on the growth of cocoa seedlings and to obtain the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer of gamal leaves that provides the best growth of cocoa seedlings in polybags. The concentrations used in this study were 0, 100 mL L-1, 200 mL L-1, 300 mL L-1, 400 mL L-1 , and 500 mL L-1. The study was arranged according to a Completely Randomized Design with 4 replications. Based on the results of the study, giving POC of gamal leaves with the best concentration of 200 mL L-1 had an effect on the variables of cocoa seedling height and number of leaves, and had no significant effect on the variables of stem diameter, dry weight of the crown, dry weight of the roots and the ratio of the root crown.
