Abstract
In the context of the rapid advancement of technology, the implementation of digital platforms in education has become essential. This study focuses on the perceptions of students at SMP Attayyibah Kerinci regarding the use of an Android-based application for conducting final examinations, referred to as the e-Ujian application. This application represents a shift from traditional paper-based tests (PBT) to a more flexible and efficient computer-based testing (CBT) system. The research employs a quantitative descriptive survey design to assess students' perceptions of the perceived ease of use (PEOU) and perceived usefulness (PU) of the application during the 2023-2024 academic year. A total population sample of 226 Grade IX students was surveyed using a structured, closed-ended questionnaire. The findings indicate overwhelmingly positive perceptions, with 91.7% of students agreeing that the application was easy to use, and 83.6% perceiving it as beneficial for exam efficiency and accuracy. The study highlights the effectiveness of the Android-based e-Ujian application in reducing cheating, improving time management, and offering a user-friendly interface that enhances the examination experience. Based on these results, the research suggests that the e-Ujian application holds significant potential for transforming educational assessments, proposing further refinements to the system to enhance its usability and functionality.
