Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is entitled "The Effect of the Number of MSMEs, Workforce, and MSME Assets on Economic Growth in Jambi Province". This study aims to determine and analyze the development and influence of the Number of MSMEs, workforce and MSME assets on economic growth in Jambi Province. This study is a quantitative study and the type of data used is secondary data. The data used in this study were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Jambi Province. The research method uses multiple linear regression with a panel data model. The results of the study showed that the t-count for the variable number of MSMEs was 4.0654 with a significance value of 0.0001, and the t-count for the variable number of workers was 2.2301 with a significance value of 0.0288. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the number of workers on Economic Growth in Jambi Province. While the t-count for the MSME asset variable is 0.5430 with a significance value of 0.5887. then the t-count value is smaller than the t-table value (1.9922) which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So MSME assets do not affect Economic Growth in Jambi Province. Keywords: Number of MSMEs, Workforce, MSME Assets, Economic Growth ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul tentang“Pengaruh Jumlah UMKM, Tenaga Kerja, dan Aset UMKM terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Provinsi Jambi”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis perkembangan dan pengaruh Jumlah UMKM, tenaga kerja dan aset UMKM terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Jambi, Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dan jenis data yang digunakan berupa data sekunder. Data yang digunakan dalam Penelitian ini di peroleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Jambi. Metode penelitian menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan model data panel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh t-hitung untuk variabel jumlah UMKM sebesar 4.0654 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,0001, dan t-hitung untuk variabel jumlah tenaga kerja sebesar 2.2301 dengan nilai signifikansi 0.0288. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh yang signifikan antara jumlah Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dan jumlah tenaga kerja terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Provinsi Jambi. Sedangkan t-hitung untuk variabel aset UMKM sebesar 0.5430 dengan nilai signifikansi 0.5887. maka nilai t-hitung tersebut lebih kecil daripada nilai t-tabel (1.9922) yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka aset UMKM tidak berpengaruh terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di provinsi Jambi. Kata Kunci: Jumlah UMKM, Tenaga Kerja, Aset UMKM, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi
