Abstract
Pengenalan huruf pada anak usia 5-6 tahun memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan anak terutama pada aspek perkembangan bahasa, yang merupakan langkah awal dalam pembelajaran membaca, dimana anak belajar mengenali bentuk, nama, dan bunyi huruf sebagai fondasi awal dalam pembelajaran mengenal huruf. Berdasarkan hasil pra observasi di TK Negeri 15 Mendalo Darat, TK Labora Islam Mulia, TK Fania Salsabila dan TK Qonita Islam Mulia menunjukkan beberapa anak kesulitan menyebutkan huruf abjad. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian adalah untuk: (1) menghasilkan permainan domino card, (2) menguji kelayakannya, dan (3) mengetahui respon guru terhadap permainan tersebut. Studi ini dikembangkan menggunakan model ADDIE, yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket validasi dari ahli materi dan media, serta angket respon 6 guru di TK Negeri 15 Mendalo Darat dan TK Labora Islam Mulia. Analisis data bersifat kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil validasi ahli materi (98%) dan ahli media (96%). Pada hasil validasi media menunjukkan permainan domino card sangat layak digunakan tanpa revisi, sedangkan pada validasi ahli materi terdapat revisi perubahan awalan dan akhiran permainan. Uji coba kepraktisan oleh guru menunjukkan skor 87%, menunjukkan permainan domino card praktis dan layak sebagai permainan pembelajaran pengenalan huruf bagi anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan atau inovasi permainan pembelajaran sangat penting dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil pembelajaran anak atau untuk stimulasi perkembangan aspek bahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota. Letter recognition in children aged 5-6 years has an important role in child development, especially in terms of language development, which is the first step in learning to read, where children learn to recognize the shape, name, and sound of letters as an initial foundation in learning to recognize letters. Based on the results of pre-observations at TK Negeri 15 Mendalo Darat, TK Labora Islam Mulia, TK Fania Salsabila and TK Qonita Islam Mulia, it showed that some children had difficulty in saying the letters of the alphabet. Therefore, the objectives of the study were to: (1) produce a domino card game, (2) test its feasibility, and (3) find out the teacher's response to the game. This study was developed using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through a validation questionnaire from material and media experts, as well as a response questionnaire from 6 teachers at TK Negeri 15 Mendalo Darat and TK Labora Islam Mulia. Data analysis was quantitative and qualitative. The results of the validation of material experts (98%) and media experts (96%). The media validation results showed that the domino card game was very feasible to use without revision, while in the validation by material experts there were revisions to changes in the prefixes and suffixes of the game. The practicality trial by the teacher showed a score of 87%, indicating that the domino card game is practical and feasible as a learning game for recognizing letters for children aged 5-6 years in Jambi Luar Kota District. Therefore, the development or innovation of learning games is very important to improve the quality of children's learning outcomes or to stimulate the development of language aspects of children aged 5-6 years in Jambi Luar Kota District.
