Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi perubahan tinggi air dan curah hujan secara efektif, serta merancang dan membangun sistem deteksi dini potensi banjir menggunakan sensor Time Of Flight (ToF) VL53L1X berbasis SMS Gateway. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan modul Micro SD Card sebagai data logger untuk mencatat data ketinggian air dan curah hujan secara real-time dengan dukungan modul RTC untuk memastikan pencatatan waktu yang akurat. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode ADDIE yang mencakup studi literatur, observasi, perbandingan hasil riset terdahulu, perancangan desain, implementasi alat, hingga evaluasi melalui pengujian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendeteksi perubahan tinggi air dan curah hujan dengan akurasi tinggi, serta memberikan output berupa tingkat potensi banjir yang dikategorikan ke dalam tiga level peringatan yaitu aman, waspada, dan bahaya. Pada pengujian pertama, ketinggian air tercatat sebesar 29,8 cm dengan curah hujan 19,25 mm, menghasilkan peringatan kategori aman. Pada pengujian kedua, ketinggian air meningkat menjadi 59,9 cm dengan curah hujan 45 mm, menghasilkan peringatan kategori waspada. Pada pengujian ketiga, ketinggian air mencapai 81,5 cm dengan curah hujan yang tetap di 47,75 mm, menghasilkan peringatan kategori bahaya. Dalam kondisi waspada dan bahaya, sistem berhasil mengirimkan notifikasi peringatan melalui SMS dengan delay rata-rata 3 detik hingga pesan diterima. Dengan demikian, alat deteksi banjir menggunakan sensor VL53L1X berbasis SMS Gateway ini berfungsi dengan baik dan mampu memberikan notifikasi terhadap potensi terjadinya banjir. This research aims to effectively detect changes in water levels and rainfall, as well as design and build a potential flood early detection system using the Time Of Flight (ToF) VL53L1X sensor based on SMS Gateway. The system is equipped with a Micro SD Card module as a data logger to record real-time water level and rainfall data with the support of an RTC module to ensure accurate time recording. The research was conducted using the ADDIE method which includes literature study, observation, comparison of previous research results, design, tool implementation, and evaluation through testing. The results showed that the system was able to detect changes in water level and rainfall with high accuracy, and provide output in the form of a potential flood level categorized into three warning levels, namely safe, alert, and danger. In the first test, the water level was recorded at 29,8 cm with 19,25 mm of rainfall, resulting in a safe category warning. In the second test, the water level increased to 59,9 cm with 45 mm of rainfall, resulting in an alert category warning. In the third test, the water level reached 81,5 cm with rainfall remaining at 47,75 mm, resulting in a danger category alert. In alert and danger conditions, the system successfully sends warning notifications via SMS with an average delay of 3 seconds until the message is received. Thus, this flood detection tool using the VL53L1X sensor based on SMS Gateway functions properly and is able to provide notifications of potential flooding.
