Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mengetahui pengaruh Kohesi Kelompok dan Keberhasilan Usaha terhadap Niat Implementasi Berwirausaha Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha Universitas Jambi tahun 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari mahasiswa yang telah lolos proses pendanaan dan menjalankan Program PMW Universitas Jambi tahun 2023. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 187 responden ditentukan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling berdasarkan perhitungan rumus Slovin dengan toleransi kesalahan 5%. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner (angket). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan structural equation modeling-partial least square (SEM-PLS) dengan model pengukuran reflektif-reflektif (Type I) melalui perangkat lunak SmartPLS versi 3.2.9. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Kohesi kelompok memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap niat implementasi berwirausaha dengan nilai t-statistik sebesar 5,967 (> 1,96), sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, 2) Keberhasilan usaha berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat implementasi berwirausaha dengan nilai t-statistik sebesar 3,193 (> 1,96), sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, 3) Kohesi kelompok dan keberhasilan usaha secara simultan memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap niat implementasi berwirausaha dengan nilai R-Square sebesar 0,357, yang menunjukkan kontribusi sebesar 35,7%, sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hasil Penelitian ini juga memberikan kontribusi dalam memperkuat teori APT (Action Phase Theory) dalam ranah kewirausahaan, memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pengelolaan program PMW, dan Universitas Jambi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pelatihan terkait kohesi kelompok dan keberlanjutan usaha mahasiswa. This study aims to examine and determine the effect of Group Cohesion and Business Success on the Intention to Implement Entrepreneurship in the Jambi University Student Entrepreneurship Program in 2023. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. The population of this study consisted of students who had passed the funding process and were running the Jambi University PMW Program in 2023. The research sample of 187 respondents was determined using a simple random sampling technique based on the Slovin formula calculation with a 5% error tolerance. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical techniques and structural equation modeling-partial least square (SEM-PLS) with a reflective-reflective measurement model (Type I) through SmartPLS software version 3.2.9. The results of this study indicate that 1) Group cohesion has a significant influence on the intention to implement entrepreneurship with a t-statistic value of 5.967 (> 1.96), so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, 2) Business success has a significant effect on the intention to implement entrepreneurship with a t-statistic value of 3.193 (> 1.96), so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, 3) Group cohesion and business success simultaneously provide a significant contribution to the intention to implement entrepreneurship with an R-Square value of 0.357, which shows a contribution of 35.7%, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results of this study also contribute to strengthening the APT (Action Phase Theory) theory in the realm of entrepreneurship, providing practical implications for the management of the PMW program, and Jambi University is expected to improve training related to group cohesion and sustainability of student businesses.
