Abstract
Cabai merah merupakan jenis cabai yang paling banyak dikonsumsi masyarakat Indonesia. Produktivitas cabai merah di Provinsi Jambi tergolong rendah dibandingkan dengan potensi hasil cabai merah. Penyebab rendahnya produktivitas cabai merah salah satunya dikarenakan adanya gangguan penyakit antraknosa yang disebabkan oleh cendawan Colletotrichum sp. sehingga perlu dilakukannya pengendalian. Salah satu pengendalian yang dapat dilakukan adalah pengendalian ramah lingkungan dengan bahan nabati yaitu tanaman sembung rambat dan kirinyuh. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak sembung rambat dan kirinyuh terhadap pertumbuhan Colletotrichum sp. secara in vitro dan in vivo. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Pengujian in vitro terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan sehingga terdapat 20 unit percobaan setiap unit percobaan terdiri dari 3 Petri sehingga terdapat 60 petri. Pengujian in vivo terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan sehingga terdapat 20 unit percobaan setiap unit percobaan terdiri dari 5 buah cabai sehingga terdapat 100 buah cabai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak kirinyuh dan sembung rambat dapat berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan penyakit antraknosa baik secara in vitro maupun in vivo pada cabai. Secara in vitro ekstrak kirinyuh, sembung rambat dan kombinasi kirinyuh dan sembung rambat dapat menghambat cendawan Colletotrichum sp. berturut-turut yaitu 55.33%, 46.30%, dan 67.85% Secara in vivo keparahan penyakit yang disebabkan Colletotrichum sp. antara kontrol, ekstrak kirinyuh, sembung rambat dan kombinasi kirinyuh dan sembung rambat yaitu 25.06%, 9.15%, 6.64% dan 2.78%. Ekstrak kombinasi kirinyuh dan sembung rambat adalah perlakuan terbaik dibandingkan hanya menggunakan salah satu ekstrak. The red chili is the type of chili that is most consumed by the Indonesian people. The productivity of red chili in Jambi Province is relatively low compared to the potential of red chili products. One of the causes of low productivity of red chili peppers is due to the disorder of anthracnose disease caused by the fungus Colletotrichum sp. So it is necessary to carry out control. One of the controls that can be carried out is environmentally friendly control with plant materials, namely grape and kirinyuh plants. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of grape and kirinyuh extract on the growth of Colletotrichum sp. in vitro and in vivo. This study was conducted with a complete random design (RAL). In vitro testing consists of 4 treatments and 5 replicas so that there are 20 test units, each test unit consists of 3 Petri so that there are 60 petri dishes. In vivo testing consisted of 5 treatments and 4 replicas so that there were 20 experimental units, each experimental unit consisted of 5 chili peppers so that there were 100 chili peppers. The results of the study showed that kirinyuh and grape extracts can affect the growth and development of anthracnose disease both in vitro and in vivo in chili peppers. In vitro, kirinyuh extract, grape grape and a combination of grape and grape grape can inhibit the fungus Colletotrichum sp. respectively, namely 55.33%, 46.30%, and 67.85% In vivo the severity of the disease caused by Colletotrichum sp. Between controls, kirinyuh extract, semung grapati and the combination of kirinyuh and sembung grape were 25.06%, 9.15%, 6.64% and 2.78%. A combination of kirinyuh and grape extract is the best treatment compared to using just one of the extracts.
