Abstract
Tourism has become the largest industry and shows consistent growth from year to year. Lake Sipin tourist attraction is one of the most frequently visited tourist attractions because of its easy-to-reach location and is equipped with various facilities ranging from a large parking area, water rides, rock climbing sports facilities, and being able to enjoy the beauty of Lake Sipin with food sold by traders. And the existence of Lake Sipin tourist attraction should be able to help increase the income of the community in Lake Sipin District, in this case it is also necessary to understand the level of income of the community in Lake Sipin District. Therefore, this study aims to: (1) analyze the socio-economic conditions of the community around the Lake Sipin Tourist Attraction; (2) to assess how capital, working hours, and length of business affect the income of residents in Lake Sipin District. The methodology applied is descriptive quantitative analysis using multiple analysis. Data compilation is carried out through a questionnaire with a purposive sampling technique involving 57 respondents from the local community, and the analysis is carried out using the E-Views device. The variables studied in this study include capital (X1), working hours (X2), length of business (X3), and community income (Y). The collected data were then analyzed through multiple linear regression at a significance level of 5%. The findings from the analysis show that individually, the variables of working hours, business location, and length of business have a positive impact on community income, while the capital variable does not contribute significantly. Overall, all variables together have an impact on community income in Danau Sipin District, with a combined contribution of 53.56%, while the remaining 46.44% is explained by other factors.
