Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kausalitas antara Indeks Persepsi Korupsi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara-negara ASEAN. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif, memanfaatkan alat analisis uji kausalitas Granger dengan periode penelitian 2012-2023 pada sepuluh negara di ASEAN. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1. Indeks Persepsi Korupsi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di ASEAN secara umum mengalami fluktuatif; 2. Terdapat hubungan kausalitas satu arah dari Indeks Persepsi Korupsi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan probabilitas 0,0317; 3. Tidak terdapat hubungan kausalitas dari pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap Indeks Persepsi Korupsi dengan probabilitas 0,8733. Kata Kunci: Indeks Persepsi Korupsi, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Uji Kausalitas Granger. This study aims to analyse the causality relationship between Corruption Perception Index and economic growth in ASEAN countries. This study uses descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis methods, utilising the Granger causality test analysis tool with a research period of 2012-2023 in ten countries in ASEAN. The results showed: 1. Corruption Perception Index and economic growth in ASEAN generally fluctuate; 2. There is a one-way causality relationship from Corruption Perception Index to economic growth with probability 0.0317; 3. There is no causality relationship from economic growth to Corruption Perception Index with probability 0.8733. Keywords: Corruption Perception Index, Economic Growth, Granger Causality Test.
