Abstract

Statelessness is an unnatural phenomenon that has occurred to several unfortunate groups of people resulting in them losing the primary source of basic protection. This condition can happen to anyone and at anytime, although there has been several actions taken by several party in relieving this nightmare induced condition such as UNHCR and other organization like European Union. Statelessness has been recorded to occur on groups such as Rohingya and few cases of illegitimate children born out of wedlock and no clear records of birth in any state. Due to their uncertain and undocumented existence these stateless person have no place to go without having met to an abundance of legal issues linked to their status. This issue also affects their basic human rights privilege and makes them even more prone to high class human rights violation whether it be to them personally or to their group of society. They are prone to transnational crimes such as human trafficking, slavery, abduction, and illegal organ harvest made for the residence and merchants of the black market and dark web enthusiast. Such issues must be dealt with with means that benefit and gives real impact. Keywords: stateless person; human rights, transnational crimes
