Abstract
Pengomposan merupakan proses dekomposisi bahan organik dengan bantuan mikroorganisme untuk menghasilkan pupuk kompos yang kaya unsur hara. Limbah peternakan, terutama kotoran sapi, berpotensi mencemari lingkungan jika tidak dikelola dengan baik. Provinsi Jambi memiliki populasi sapi potong yang besar, sehingga limbah feses sapi yang dihasilkan sangat berpotensi untuk diolah menjadi kompos bernutrisi tinggi. Selain itu, limbah pertanian seperti kulit kopi dan eceng gondok juga dapat dijadikan bahan campuran dalam pembuatan kompos guna meningkatkan kualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan Trichoderma Harzianum terhadap kualitas kompos berbahan fEses sapi, kulit kopi, eceng gondok, biochar, dedak dan urea. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari: P0 = 55% feses sapi + 13% eceng gondok + 13% biochar + 3% dedak + 15% kulit kopi + 1% urea, P1 = P0 + 1% Tricodherma Harzianum, P2 = P0 + 2% Tricodherma Harzianum, P3 = P0 + 3% Tricodherma Harzianum. Peubah yang diamati bentuk fisik kompos (warna, bau dan tekstur), suhu, pH, penyusutan, unsur hara kompos yang dihasilkan (C, N, P, K) dan C/N Rasio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk fisik kompos dalam kategori baik karena menghasilkan kompos yang 94,12% berwarna coklat kehitaman, 100% berbau tanah dan 94,12% bertekstur remah. Rataan suhu akhir proses pengomposan pada semua perlakuan yaitu 33ºC. Rataan pH kompos yaitu 6,49. Rataan penyusutan kompos yaitu 30,39%. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa penambahan Trichoderma Harzianum tidak berpengaruh nyata (P<0,5) terhadap kalium (1,74%), serta berpengaruh sangat nyata (P>0,01) terhadap kandungan karbon (22,58%), nitrogen (1,01%), Phospor (0,34%) dan Rasio C/N (22,20%). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penambahan 2% Trichoderma Harzianum dalam pembuatan kompos berbahan dasar feses sapi, kulit kopi, eceng gondok, biochar, dedak dan urea. Menghasilkan bentuk fisik yang baik (warna, bau, dan tekstur), pH, dan unsur hara (C,N,P,K dan C/N) yang sudah memenuhi (SNI 19-7030-2004) dan standar Peraturan Kementerian Pertanian Nomor 70 Tahun 2011 Composting is the decomposition process of organic materials assisted by microorganisms to produce nutrient-rich compost. Livestock waste, especially cattle manure, has the potential to pollute the environment if not properly managed. Jambi Province has a large population of beef cattle, making cattle feces a highly potential material to be processed into nutrient-rich compost. Additionally, agricultural waste such as coffee husks and water hyacinth can also be used as supplementary materials in compost production to improve its quality. This study aimed to determine the effect of Trichoderma harzianum addition on the quality of compost made from cattle feces, coffee husks, water hyacinth, biochar, rice bran, and urea. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were: P0 = 55% cattle feces + 13% water hyacinth + 13% biochar + 3% rice bran + 15% coffee husk + 1% urea; P1 = P0 + 1% Trichoderma harzianum; P2 = P0 + 2% Trichoderma harzianum; and P3 = P0 + 3% Trichoderma harzianum. The observed variables included the physical form of the compost (color, odor, and texture), temperature, pH, reduction rate, nutrient content (C, N, P, K), and C/N ratio. The results showed that the physical form of the compost was in good category, as it produced compost that was 94.12% dark brown, 100% soil-scented, and 94.12% crumbly in texture. The average final composting temperature across all treatments was 33ºC, with an average pH of 6.49 and a reduction rate of 30.39%. Analysis of variance showed that the addition of Trichoderma harzianum had no significant effect (P<0.05) on potassium content (1.74%), but had a highly significant effect (P>0.01) on carbon (22.58%), nitrogen (1.01%), phosphorus (0.34%), and the C/N ratio (22.20%). In conclusion, the addition of 2% Trichoderma harzianum in composting with cattle feces, coffee husks, water hyacinth, biochar, rice bran, and urea resulted in good physical characteristics (color, odor, and texture), optimal pH, and nutrient content (C, N, P, K, and C/N ratio) that met the standards of SNI 19-7030-2004 and the Regulation of the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture No. 70/2011.
