Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian kompos sludge terhadap C-organik dan N-total serta pertumbuhan dan hasil kacang tanah (Arachis hypogeae). penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 4 bulan dimulai dari bulan Juni hingga September 2025 di Desa Simpang Sungai Duren dan analisis tanah serta tanaman dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia dan Kesuburan Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi. penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan K0 (tanpa pemberian kompos sludge), K1 (5 ton/ha kompos sludge), K2 (10 ton/ha kompos sludge), K3 (15 ton/ha kompos sludge), K4 (20 ton/ha kompos sludge), K5 (25 ton/ha kompos sludge) dengan 4 pengulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian kompos sludge tidak berpengaruh nyata dalam meningkatkan C-organik dan N-total Ultisol. Akan tetapi berpengaruh nyata dalam meningkatkan tinggi tanaman dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah (Arachis hypogeae). Kata kunci: sludge, Ultisol, C-organik, N-total, Kacang tanah ABSTRACT This study aimed to analyze the effect of sludge compost application on soil organic carbon (C-organic), total nitrogen (N-total), as well as the growth and yield of peanut plants (Arachis hypogaea). The research was conducted over a four-month period, from June to September 2025, in Simpang Sungai Duren Village. Soil and plant analyses were carried out at the Soil Chemistry and Fertility Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jambi. A Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) was employed, consisting of six treatments: K0 (no sludge compost application), K1 (5 tons/ha), K2 (10 tons/ha), K3 (15 tons/ha), K4 (20 tons/ha), and K5 (25 tons/ha), each with four replications. The results indicated that sludge compost application had no significant effect on increasing soil C-organic and N-total in Ultisol.
