Abstract

ABSTRAK Judul penelitian ini adalah “Faktor-Faktor Kependudukan yang Memengaruhi Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jambi” dibawah bimbingan bapak Prof. Dr. Junaidi, S.E., M.Si dan bapak H. Parmadi, S.E., M.E. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menganalisis perkembangan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB), jumlah penduduk, kondisi tenaga kerja, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), dependency ratio dan sex ratio Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jambi selama periode 2010-2024. 2) Menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh jumlah penduduk, tenaga kerja, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), dependency ratio, dan sex ratio terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jambi selama periode 2010-2024. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif. Alat analisis kuantitatif menggunakan regresi data panel dengan pendekatan Fixed Effect Model (FEM) periode tahun 2010 hingga 2024 dan mencakup 11 kabupaten/kota yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, jumlah penduduk dan IPM berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto, sedangkan tenaga kerja dan dependency ratio tidak berpengaruh. Sementara itu, sex ratio berpengaruh negatif signifikan. Secara simultan, seluruh variabel berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto. Kata Kunci : Produk Domestik Regional Bruto, Jumlah Penduduk, Tenaga Kerja, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia, Dependency Ratio, Sex Ratio ABSTRACT The title of this research is “Population Factors Affecting the Gross Regional Product (GRP) of Districts/Cities in Jambi Province” under the guidance of Mr. Prof. Dr. Junaidi, S.E., M.Si and Mr. H. Parmadi, S.E., M.E. This study aims to: 1) Analyze the development of the Gross Regional Product (GRP), population size, labor conditions, Human Development Index (HDI), dependency ratio, and sex ratio of Districts/Cities in Jambi Province during the period 2010-2024. 2) Test and analyze the effects of population size, labor, Human Development Index (HDI), dependency ratio, and sex ratio on the Gross Regional Product (GRP) of Districts/Cities in Jambi Province during the period 2010-2024. The analysis methods used in this study are descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The quantitative analysis tool uses panel data regression with a Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach for the period from 2010 to 2024 and includes 11 regencies/cities sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The results of this study indicate that partially, the population and the Human Development Index (HDI) have a significant positive effect on GDP, while labor and the dependency ratio do not have an effect. Meanwhile, the sex ratio has a significant negative effect. Simultaneously, all variables have a significant positive effect on GDP.
