Abstract

Kedelai (Glycine max L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas tanaman pangan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis penting di Indonesia. Kedelai termasuk dalam kelompok kacang-kacangan yang memiliki kandungan 34% protein, 19% minyak, 34% karbohidrat (17% serat makanan), 5% mineral, serta beberapa komponen lainnya seperti vitamin dan isoflavon. Produktivitas kedelai di Indonesia dan jambi masih rendah. Rendahnya produktivitas kedelai disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu varietas yang tidak unggul, pemupukan yang tidak sesuai rekomendasi, menurunnya kesuburan tanah serta serangan hama dan penyakit. Cara untuk mengatasi yaitu dengan menggunakan pupuk organik. Salah satu bahan organik yang dapat digunakan adalah limbah kulit nanas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Teaching and Research Farm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi pada bulan Agustus s.d November 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan satu faktor perlakuan yaitu konsentrasi POC limbah kulit nanas dengan 6 taraf yaitu: n0 = 0 mL L-1, n1 = 100 mL L-1, n2 = 200 mL L-1, n3 = 300 mL L-1, n4 = 400 mL L-1, n5 = 500 mL L-1. Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga terdapat 24 petak percobaan. Setiap petak percobaan dibuat dengan ukuran 1,5 x 1,0 m dengan jarak tanam 30 x 20 cm, jarak antar kelompok 100 cm dan jarak perlakuan dalam kelompok 50 cm. Satu petak percobaan terdapat 25 tanaman dan jumlah tanaman seluruhnya sebanyak 600 tanaman. Dari setiap perlakuan diambil 4 tanaman sebagai sampel sehingga jumlah tanaman sampel keseluruhan sebanyak 96 tanaman. Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang primer, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong berisi, bobot 100 biji, hasil per hektar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan sidik ragam kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1). Pemberian POC kulit nanas mampu meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong berisi, bobot 100 biji dan hasil per hektar. Namun, belum mampu meningkatkan jumlah cabang primer pada tanaman kedelai. 2). Pemberian POC kulit nanas 300 mL L-1 merupakan konsentrasi terbaik untuk mendukung pertumbuhan tanaman kedelai. Pemberian POC kulit nanas meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong berisi, bobot 100 biji, dan hasil per hektar Kata Kunci : Kedelai, pupuk organik cair limbah kulit nanas Oybeans (Glycine max L.) are a food crop with significant economic value in Indonesia. Soybeans are a legume and contain 34% protein, 19% oil, 34% carbohydrates (17% dietary fiber), 5% minerals, and several other components such as vitamins and isoflavones. Soybean productivity in Indonesia and Jambi remains low. This low productivity is caused by several factors, including inferior varieties, inappropriate fertilization, declining soil fertility, and pest and disease attacks. One way to address this is by using organic fertilizers. One such organic material is pineapple peel waste. This research was conducted at the Teaching and Research Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jambi from August to November 2024. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with one treatment factor, namely the concentration of pineapple peel waste POC with 6 levels, namely: n0 = 0 mL L-1, n1 = 100 mL L-1, n2 = 200 mL L-1, n3 = 300 mL L-1, n4 = 400 mL L-1, n5 = 500 mL L-1. Each treatment was repeated 4 times so that there were 24 experimental plots. Each experimental plot was made with a size of 1.5 x 1.0 m with a spacing of 30 x 20 cm, a distance between groups of 100 cm and a distance between treatments within a group of 50 cm. One experimental plot contained 25 plants and a total number of plants was 600 plants. From each treatment, 4 plants were taken as samples so that the total number of sample plants was 96 plants. The observed variables were plant height, number of primary branches, number of pods per plant, number of filled pods, 100-seed weight, and yield per hectare. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that: 1). Application of pineapple peel POC increased plant height, number of pods per plant, number of filled pods, 100-seed weight, and yield per hectare. However, it did not increase the number of primary branches in soybean plants. 2). Application of 300 mL L-1 of pineapple peel POC was the best concentration to support soybean plant growth. Application of pineapple peel POC increased plant height, number of pods per plant, number of filled pods, 100-seed weight, and yield per hectare.
