Abstract

Cagar Alam Hutan Bakau Pantai Timur (CAHBPT) merupakan salah satu cagar alam yang terdapat di Provinsi Jambi. Saat ini cagar alam sedang mengalami ancaman kerusakan yang di sebabkan oleh faktor manusia, seperti penebangan liar, penyalahgunaan lahan dan perubahan iklim menyebabkan kerusakan ekosistem mangrove. Hutan mangrove harus dioptimalkan melalui upaya konservasi, pengelolaan berkelanjutan, inovasi ekonomi yang mendukung kesejahteraan masyarakat dan pelestarian lingkungan. Dengan adanya kerusakan ini pihak pengelola cagar alam membuat program penanaman mangrove. Pengelolaan mangrove berkelanjutan dibutuhkan peran serta masyarakat dan persepsi positif masyarakat dengan keberadaan mangrove akan meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan pengelolaan mangrove. Dengan adanya program penanaman mangrove ini di harapkan masyarakat agar lebih sadar dengan pengelolaan mangrove berkelanjutan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi masyarakat terhadap program penanaman mangrove dikawasan Cagar Alam Hutan mangrove Pantai Timur Kelurahan Nipah Panjang 1 dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat. Metode penelitian, penelitian ini berlokasi di Kelurahan Nipah Panjang 1 RT 09 dan RT Paret Bengkok metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Jenis dan sumber data penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sensus serta analisis data menggunakan skala likert untuk melihat tingkat partsipasi masyarakat dan komputerisasi SPSS untuk analisis regresi berganda dalam menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat terhadap program penanaman mangrove. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat partisipasi masyarakat terhadap program penanaman mangrove dengan persentase skor 69,83% . Diperoleh urutan tertinggi dari segi actuating dengan persentase skor 53,66%, dan urutan terendah dari segi organizing dengan persentase skor 46,34%. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat terhadap program penanaman mangrove adalah umur, lama pendidikan, lama menetap dan penghasilan. Keempat faktor memiliki nilai sig < 0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa keempat faktor tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap partisipasi masyarakat terhadap program penanaman mangrove. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) 61,6% variasi partisipasi dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel penelitian, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model. Kata Kunci : Partisipasi Masyarakat, Program penanaman mangrove, cagar alam hutan bakau pantai timur East Coast Mangrove Forest Reserve (CAHBPT) is one of the nature reserves in Jambi Province. Currently, the nature reserve is facing threats of damage caused by human factors, such as illegal logging, land misuse, and climate change, causing damage to the mangrove ecosystem. Mangrove forests must be optimized through conservation efforts, sustainable management, economic innovation that supports community welfare and environmental preservation. Due to this damage, the nature reserve management created a mangrove planting program. Sustainable mangrove management requires community participation, and positive public perception of the existence of mangroves will increase community participation in mangrove management activities. With this mangrove planting program, it is hoped that the community will be more aware of sustainable mangrove management. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of community participation in the mangrove planting program in the East Coast Mangrove Forest Reserve area of Nipah Panjang 1 Village and to determine what factors influence community participation. The research method, this study was located in Nipah Panjang 1 Village, RT 09 and RT Paret Bengkok. The data collection method for this study was through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature studies. The types and sources of data in this study are primary and secondary data. The sampling method uses the census method and data analysis uses a Likert scale to see the level of community participation and SPSS computerization for multiple regression analysis in analyzing the factors that influence community participation in the mangrove planting program. The results of this study indicate that the level of community participation in the mangrove planting program with a percentage score of 69.83%. The highest order is obtained in terms of actuating with a percentage score of 53.66%, and the lowest order in terms of organizing with a percentage score of 46.34%. The factors that influence community participation in the mangrove planting program are age, length of education, length of residence and income. The four factors have a sig value <0.05 which indicates that the four factors have a significant effect on community participation in the mangrove planting program. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 61.6% of participation variation can be explained by the research variables, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the model.
