Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ), untuk mengetahui kemampuan argumentasi siswa, dan korelasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) dengan kemampuan argumentasi siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan campuran (mix method) dengan jenis model triangulasi konkuren. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan dengan purposive sampling yaitu kelas XI IPA 1. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) oleh guru maupun siswa dan tes esai kemampuan argumentasi. Untuk melihat korelasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) dengan kemampuan argumentasi peserta didik dilakukan uji korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Rata-rata keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) oleh siswa sebesar 19,68 dengan kategori baik dan rata-rata kemampuan argumentasi siswa sebesar 75,94 dengan kategori baik. Korelasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) dengan kemampuan argumentasi siswa diperoleh rxy= 0,74 dengan tingkat korelasi kuat. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) dengan kemampuan argumentasi siswa diperoleh Kd= 54,76% dengan tingkat korelasi sedang, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) dengan kemampuan argumentasi siswa di SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the implementation of the Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) learning model, to determine students' argumentation skills, and the correlation of the implementation of the Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) learning model with students' argumentation abilities. The approach used in this research is a mixed method with the type of concurrent triangulation model. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, namely class XI IPA 1. The research instrument used was an observation sheet on the implementation of the Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) learning model by teachers and students and essay tests on argumentation skills. To see the correlation of the implementation of the Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) learning model with the argumentation ability of students, the Pearson Product Moment correlation test was carried out. The average implementation of the Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) learning model by students is 19.68 in the good category and the average student argumentation ability is 75.94 in the good category. The correlation between the implementation of the Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) learning model with students' argumentation skills was obtained rxy = 0.74 with a strong correlation level. The test results of the coefficient of determination of the implementation of the Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) learning model with students' argumentation skills obtained Kd = 54.76% with a moderate correlation level, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the implementation of the Four Step Jigsaw (4SJ) learning model and the argumentation ability of students at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi.
