Abstract

ABSTRACT Chemistry subject matter is a subject that is less attractive to students because it is abstract and monotonous. This chemistry subject focuses on how the concepts, principles, laws and theories of chemistry as well as the relationship between chemistry and its application in everyday life to solve problems, this study aims to determine whether e-Magazine uses flipcreator on the reaction rate material in class XI MIPA developed is feasible theoretically and practically. This research is a development research that uses the ADDIE development model which consists of the stages of Analysis (Analysis), Design (Design), Development (Development), Implementation (Implementation), and Evaluation (Evaluation). Product development is validated by a team of media, materials and instructional design experts. The research instruments used were interview guide sheets and questionnaires. The results of this study obtained that the average score of media, material and design experts was 4.46 (Very Appropriate) and 4.5 (Very Appropriate) and was declared eligible for testing. Furthermore, based on the responses with two teacher assessments to strengthen the media that has been made which contains that the e-Magazine developed has been appropriate and very well used for students with scores of 4.5 and 4.43 (Very Good), as well as getting a good response from students in the one-on-one test of 3.5 (Good) and the small group trial of 4.5 (Very Good). Based on the development process and research results, it is concluded that this e-magazine is very well used theoretically and practically as one of the learning media on the reaction rate material.
