Abstract

Kata kunci: Project Based Learning, Mobile Learning (Whatsapp), Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang berdampak terhadap pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Berhasil tidaknya mencapai tujuan pembelajaran banyak bergantung selama proses pembelajaran. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbantuan Mobile Learning (Whatsapp) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi pada bulan April 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penellitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental) menggunakan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subyek penelitian ini siswa kelas X IPA tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi dengan jumlah 54 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Random. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes yang berupa Pretest dan Posttest serta kuesioner kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Validasi instrumen dilakukan oleh validator ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sesudah implementasi model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbantuan Mobile Learning (Whatsapp) lebih baik dibandingkan sebelum penerapannya. Pada kelompok yang diberikan pembelajaran menggunakan model Project Based Learning berbantuan Mobile Learning (Whatsapp) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 73,51 dengan standar deviasi 9,68. Sedangkan pada kelompok yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional diperoleh nilai rata-rata 67,92 dengan standar deviasi 13,20. Hasil uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini didapat thitung = 1,96 dan ttabel = 1,67, maka nilai thitung > ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Berdasarkan analisa data dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sesudah implementasi model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbantuan Mobile Learning (Whatsapp) lebih baik dibandingkan sebelum penerapannya.. Adapun saran dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru diharapkan dapat menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbantuan Mobile Learning (Whatsapp) dalam proses pembelajaran Biologi. Siswa diharapkan lebih banyak membaca dan mencari berbagai informasi serta penelitian eksperimen ini hanya dilakukan pada materi Ekologi, diharapkan adanya penelitian lanjutan. Keywords: Project Based Learning, Mobile Learning (Whatsapp), Creative Thinking Ability The background of this research is the low creative thinking ability of students which has an impact on the achievement of learning objectives. The success or failure of achieving learning objectives depends a lot during the learning process. So this study aims to find out how the implementation of the Project Based Learning learning model assisted by Mobile Learning (Whatsapp) on students' creative thinking abilities. This research was conducted at SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi in April 2021. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach (Quasi Experimental) using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were students of class X science in the 2020/2021 school year of SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi with a total of 54 students. Sampling using the Random technique. Data collection techniques used tests in the form of Pretest and Posttest and questionnaires on students' creative thinking skills. Instrument validation is carried out by expert validators. The results showed that students' creative thinking skills after the implementation of the Project Based Learning learning model assisted by Mobile Learning (Whatsapp) were better than before its application. In the group that was given learning using the Project Based Learning model assisted by Mobile Learning (Whatsapp), the average value was 73.51 with a standard deviation of 9.68. While the group taught using the conventional learning model obtained an average value of 67.92 with a standard deviation of 13.20. The results of hypothesis testing in this study obtained tcount = 1.96 and ttable = 1.67, then the value of tcount> ttable at a significance level of 0.05. Based on the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the students' creative thinking skills after the implementation of the Project Based Learning model assisted by Mobile Learning (Whatsapp) are better than before the implementation. Learning (Whatsapp) in the Biology learning process. Students are expected to read more and seek various information and this experimental research is only carried out on Ecology material, it is hoped that further research will be carried out.
