Abstract
Keterampilan proses sains merupakan seluruh keterampilan ilmiah yang terarah baik kognitif maupun psikomotor yang digunakan untuk menemukan suatu konsep atau prinsip atau teori. Keterampilan-keterampilan yang ada pada pendekatan saintifik disebut juga komponen dari keterampilan proses sains. Keterampilan proses sains yang masih rendah dapat ditingkatkan dengan pembelajaran yang mengembangkan cara belajar siswa aktif menemukan sendiri. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang mampu mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains dalam pembelajaran adalah model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan korelasinya dengan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi redoks. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan campuran (mix method) dengan jenis model sequential exploratory. Subyek dalam penelitian ini hanya satu kelas yaitu kelas X IPA 3 yang berjumlah 27 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi pelaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dari guru maupun siswa dan lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains siswa. Untuk melihat korelasi pelaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan keterampilan proses sains siswa dilakukan uji korelasi product moment. Pelaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing oleh siswa sebesar 71,39% dengan kategori baik dan persentase keterampilan proses sains siswa sebesar 72,46% dengan kategori baik. Hubungan pelaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan keterampilan proses sains siswa diperoleh rxy 0,518 dengan tingkat hubungan sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berjalan baik dan berkorelasi dengan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi redoks kelas X IPA SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi. Science process skills are all scientific skills that are directed both cognitive and psychomotor that are used to find a concept or principle or theory. The skills that exist in the scientific approach are also called components of the science process skills. Science process skills that are still low can be improved by learning that develops students' ways of actively discovering their own learning. One learning model that is able to develop science process skills in learning is the guided inquiry learning model. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model and its correlation with students' science process skills on redox material. The approach used in this study is a mixed method with a sequential exploratory model. The subjects in this study were only one class, namely class X IPA 3, which amounted to 27 people. The research instrument used was the observation sheet for the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model from the teacher and students and the observation sheet for the student's science process skills. To see the correlation between the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model and the students' science process skills, a product moment correlation test was conducted. The implementation of the guided inquiry learning model by students was 71.39% in the good category and the percentage of students' science process skills was 72.46% in the good category. The relationship between the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model and the students' science process skills was obtained with an rxy of 0.518 with a moderate level of relationship. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model went well and correlated with students' science process skills in redox material for class X IPA SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi.
