Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dianggap mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam proses pembelajaran adalah model pembelajaran Blended Learning. Unsur dalam model pembelajaran Blended Learning yang diperkirakan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa adalah saat siswa manginterprestasi dan mengelaborasi informasi secara kelompok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan model pembelajaran Blended Learning dan korelasinya dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi larutan penyangg kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 8 Kota Jambi. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan campuran (mix metode) dengan jenis model Triangulasi Konkuren. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling yaitu kelas XI IPA 3, instrument yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi pelaksanaan model Blended Learning baik guru maupun siswa dan tes essay kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Untuk melihat hubungan pelaksanaan model Blended Learning dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dilakukan uji korelasi product moment dan analisis koefisien determinasi. Persentase penggunaan model Blended Learning oleh siswa sebesar 51,94% dengan kategori cukup baik dan persentase kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 57,30% dengan kategori cukup baik. Hubungan penggunaan model pembelajaran Blended Learning dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh rxy=0,73 dengan tingkat hubungan kuat. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi penggunaan model pembelajaran Blended Learning dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh KD= 53,77% dengan tingkat pengaruh sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penilitian yang diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Blended Learning dikategorikan baik dan terdapat korelasi dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi larutan penyangga di kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 8 Kota Jambi. ABSTRACT One of the learning models that are considered capable of developing students' critical thinking skills in the learning process is the Blended Learning model. The element in the Blended Learning learning model that is expected to improve students' critical thinking skills is when students interpret and elaborate information in groups. This study aims to analyze the use of the Blended Learning learning model and its correlation with students' critical thinking skills in class XI IPA 3 SMAN 8 Jambi City supporting solution material. The approach used in this study is a mixed approach (mix method) with the type of Concurrent Triangulation model. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, namely class XI IPA 3, the instrument used was an observation sheet on the implementation of the Blended Learning model for both teachers and students and an essay test of students' critical thinking skills. To see the relationship between the implementation of the Blended Learning model and students' critical thinking skills, a product moment correlation test and analysis of the coefficient of determination were carried out. The percentage of students using the Blended Learning model is 51.94% with a good enough category and the percentage of students' critical thinking skills is 57.30% with a good enough category. The relationship between the use of the Blended Learning learning model and students' critical thinking skills was obtained rxy=0.73 with a strong relationship level. The results of the coefficient of determination test using the Blended Learning learning model with students' critical thinking skills obtained KD = 53.77% with a moderate level of influence. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the use of the Blended Learning learning model is categorized as good and there is a correlation with students' critical thinking skills in the buffer solution material in class XI IPA 3 SMAN 8 Jambi City.
