Abstract

Pada kurikulum 2013 sekarang peserta didik dapat meningkatkan tingkat kompetensi yang mereka miliki, seperti : Berpikir kritis, komunikasi, kolaboratif, dan kreatif dengan pembelajaran yang signifikan sehingga dapat bersaing pada abad ke-21 ini. Berpikir kritis adalah proses berpikir dengan menggabungkan kemampuan intelektual dan kemampuan berpikir untuk menganalisis dan memecahkan masalah sehingga pada akhirnya dapat menarik kesimpulan dari suatu permasalahan tersebut. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu model Two Stay Two Stray. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dan korelasinya dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi larutan penyangga di kelas XI IPA 2 pada shift A di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mixed method (campuran) dengan jenis model Triangulasi Konkuren. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas XI IPA 2 pada shift A SMA Negeri 2 Kota Jambi. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi pelaksanaan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray oleh guru dan siswa dan soal tes essay kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Product Moment dan selanjutnya untuk melihat seberapa kuat korelasinya dilakukan uji koefisien determinasi Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diketahui bahwa penerapan model Two Stay Two Stray oleh siswa diperoleh persentase 68,58% dalam katagori baik. Hal ini sejalan positif dengan hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang diperoleh persentase 73,61% dalam katagori baik. Hubungan pelaksanaan model Two Stay Two Stray dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis diperoleh rxy = 0,72 dengan tingkat hubungan kuat. Hasil perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai 52% dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara pelaksanaan model Two Stay Two Stray dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi larutan penyangga di kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 2 Kota Jambi In the 2013 curriculum now students can increase the level of competence they have, such as: critical thinking, communication, collaborative, and creative with significant learning so that they can compete in the 21st century. Critical thinking is a thinking process by combining intellectual abilities and thinking skills to analyze and solve problems so that in the end can draw conclusions from a problem. One of the learning models that can improve critical thinking skills is the Two Stay Two Stray model. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model and its correlation with students' critical thinking skills on buffer solution material in class XI IPA 2 on shift A at SMA Negeri 2 Jambi City. This research is a kind of descriptive correlational research. The design used in this study is a mixed method with the type of concurrent triangulation model. The sample used is class XI IPA 2 in shift A of SMA Negeri 2 Jambi City. The research instrument was an observation sheet on the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model by teachers and students and essay tests on students' critical thinking skills. Hypothesis testing is done using the Product Moment correlation test and then to see how strong the correlation is, the coefficient of determination test is carried out Based on the results of data processing, it is known that the application of the Two Stay Two Stray model by students obtained a percentage of 68.58% in the good category. This is in positive line with the results of the student's critical thinking ability test which obtained a percentage of 73.61% in the good category. The relationship between the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray model with critical thinking skills is obtained rxy = 0.72 with a strong relationship level. The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained a value of 52% in the medium category. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there was a correlation between the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray model with students' critical thinking skills on the buffer solution material in class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 2 Jambi City.
