Abstract
Kegiatan pembelajaran umumnya dilakukan secara langsung di dalam suatu ruang kelas, dimana guru dan peserta didik berinteraksi secara langsung. Namun sejak terjadi pandemi, pembelajaran dilakukan dirumah masing-masing secara online. kemampuan kognitif adalah ketercapaian individu atau kelompok yang dapat diamati sebagai hasil atau proses memperoleh pengetahuan melalui pengalaman belajar. Salah satu materi yang akan diteliti yakni materi keanekaragaman hayati, dimana materi keanekaragaman hayati dengan materi yang cukup banyak, juga berhubungan dengan permasalahan makhluk hidup, dan pentingnya kemampuan kognitif untuk pengetahuan beserta ide-ide dalam menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan alam yang terjadi sekitarnya. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara guru SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi, pembelajaran daring tentunya berdampak langsung pada kemampuan siswa. Dalam proses pembelajaran daring guru menyatakan 20% siswa mau belajar dan 80% tidak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan kognitif siswa SMA kelas X pada pembelajaran online materi keanekaragaman hayati. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang dipakai yaitu lembar soal tes urraian siswa dan lembar wawancara guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan tingkat kemampuan kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran daring materi keanekaragaman hayati tergolong cukup dilihat dari hasil perindikator: indikator Mengingat 58,6% kategori Cukup, indikator Memahami 60% kategori Cukup, indikator Menerapkan 51,6% kategori Cukup, indikator Menganalisis 57,2% kategori Cukup, dan indikator Mengevaluasi 55% kategori Cukup. Didapat rata-rata presentase keseluruhan indikator kemampuan kognitif yaitu 52,1% kategori cukup. Learning activities are generally carried out directly in a classroom, where teachers and students interact directly. However, since the pandemic occurred, learning has been carried out at each other's homes online. Cognitive abilities are the achievements of individuals or groups that can be observed as a result or process of acquiring knowledge through learning experiences. One of the materials to be studied is biodiversity material, where biodiversity material with quite a lot of material, also related to the problems of living things, and the importance of cognitive abilities for knowledge and ideas in solving a natural problem that occurs around it. Based on the results of interviews with teachers of SMA Negeri 11 Jambi City, Online learning certainly has a direct impact on students' abilities. In the online learning process the teacher stated that 20% of students wanted to learn and 80% did not. This study aims to analyze the cognitive abilities of class X high school students in online learning about biodiversity. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The instruments used were student test question sheets and teacher interview sheets. The results of this study showed that the level of cognitive ability of students in online learning of biodiversity material was classified as sufficient, judging from the results of the indicators: Remembering indicator 58.6% in the Enough category, Understanding indicator 60% in the Enough category, the indicator of Applying is 51.6% in the Enough category, the Analyzing indicator is 57.2% in the Enough category, and the Evaluating indicator is 55% in the Enough category. The average percentage of all cognitive ability indicators is 52.1% in the sufficient category.
