Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan dan validitas video pembelajaran isu lingkungan global dengan penerapan model PBL serta efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kompetensi dasar mahasiswa pendidikan kimia Universitas Jambi sebagai calon pendidik terhadap model pembelajaran PBL (Problem based Learning). Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Lee & Owens yang mengikuti prosedur ADDIE (Analysis, Desaign, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Metode pengumpulan data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode wawancara, angket, dan tes. Hasil validasi II oleh ahli materi didapatkan skor 4,26 dengan kategori sangat layak, ahli media didapatkan skor 4,71 dengan kategori sangat layak. Respon mahasiswa dengan uji satu-satu didapatkan skor 96,67% dengan kategori sangat layak dan respon mahasiswa dengan uji coba lapangan didapatkan skor 91,47% dengan kategori sangat layak. Untuk mengetahui efektivitas digunakan uji N-Gain didapatkan kategori “Tinggi” dengan hasil 0,772054 pada rentang nilai 0,70 ≤ g < 0,71. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan video pembelajaran isu lingkungan global terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaan model pembelajran PBL. Berdasarkan pengembangan dan penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran isu lingkungan global dengan penerapan model PBL baik dan layak digunakan sebagai media referensi belajar mandiri mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan sebagai calon pendidik. This study aims to determine the development process and the validity of learning videos on global environmental issues by applying the PBL model and its effectiveness in increasing the basic competence of chemistry education students at Jambi University as prospective educators in the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model. This study uses the Lee & Owens development model which follows the ADDIE procedure (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection methods used in this study are interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of validation II by material experts obtained a score of 4.26 with a very feasible category, media experts obtained a score of 4.71 with a very feasible category. Student responses with one-on-one tests obtained a score of 96.67% in the very feasible category and student responses with field trials obtained a score of 91.47% in the very feasible category. To find out the effectiveness of using the N-Gain test, it was obtained in the "High" category with a result of 0.772054 in the range of values 0.70 ≤ g < 0.71. it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of learning videos on global environmental issues on students' knowledge and skills in implementing the PBL learning model. Based on this development and research, it can be concluded that learning videos on global environmental issues with the application of the PBL model are good and appropriate to be used as reference media for student self-learning to improve as prospective educators.
