Abstract

Kata Kunci: sopan santun, kerja sama, diskusi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip sopan santun dan prinsip kerja sama pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia saat berdiskusi oleh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 11 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 11 Kota Jambi. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari teknik simak dengan teknik catat dan rekam sebagai lanjutannya. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan tahapan mereduksi atau mengklasifikasikan data, kemudian data tersebut disajikan dalam bentuk narasi, kemudian diverifikasi berdasarkan teori kesantunan Leech dan kerja sama Grice. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, terdapat 28 tuturan yang mengandung prinsip kesantunan dan 17 tuturan yang mengandung prinsip kerja sama pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dalam kegiatan diskusi siswa kelas VIII SMPN 11 Kota Jambi. Berdasarkan prinsip kesantunan, terdapat 15 pematuhan maksim sopan santun yang terdiri dari maksim kearifan, kedermawanan, pujian, kesederhanaan, permufakatan, dan kesimpatian. Sedangkan pelanggaran pada prinsip kesantunan, terdapat 13 pelanggaran maksim yang terdiri dari maksim kearifan, kedermawanan, pujian, kesederhanaan, permufakatan, dan kesimpatian. Berdasarkan prinsip kerja sama, terdapat 10 pematuhan maksim kerja sama yang terdiri dari maksim kuantitas, kualitas, hubungan, dan cara. Sedangkan pelanggaran pada prinsip kerja sama, terdapat 7 pelanggaran maksim yang terdiri dari maksim kuantitas, kualitas, hubungan, dan cara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pematuhan dan pelanggaran dari prinsip kesantunan dan prinsip kerja sama pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dalam kegiatan diskusi siswa kelas VIII SMPN 11 Kota Jambi. Penulis berharap, hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber referensi untuk mengembangkan teori-teori Pragmatik khususnya pada prinsip kesantunan Leech dan prinsip kerja sama Grice. The aim of this research is to describe compliance and violations of the principles of courtesy and cooperation principles in Indonesian language learning during discussions by class VIII students at SMPN 11 Jambi City. This research was conducted at SMPN 11 Jambi City. The data in this research was obtained from listening techniques with note-taking and recording techniques as a follow-up. The data was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis method with stages of reducing or classifying the data, then the data was presented in narrative form, then verified based on Leech's theory of politeness and Grice's collaboration. The results of the research showed that there were 28 utterances containing the principle of politeness and 17 utterances containing the principle of cooperation in Indonesian language learning in discussion activities for class VIII students at SMPN 11 Jambi City. Based on the principles of politeness, there are 15 maxims of politeness which consist of the maxims of wisdom, generosity, praise, simplicity, consensus and sympathy. Meanwhile, there are 13 violations of the principles of politeness, consisting of the maxims of wisdom, generosity, praise, simplicity, consensus and sympathy. Based on the principle of cooperation, there are 10 maxims of cooperation which consist of the maxims of quantity, quality, relationship and method. Meanwhile, there are 7 violations of the principle of cooperation, consisting of the maxims of quantity, quality, relationship and method. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there are compliance and violations of the principles of politeness and the principle of cooperation in Indonesian language learning in discussion activities for class VIII students at SMPN 11 Jambi City. The author hopes that the results of this research can be used as a reference source for developing Pragmatic theories, especially Leech's principles of politeness and Grice's principles of cooperation.
