Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Penerapan Model Discovery Learning dengan Pemanfaatan Media Digital Storytelling dalam Pembelejaran Menulis Cerpen di Kelas IX. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas IX sebagai partisipan utama dan siswa kelas IX sebagai partisipan pendukung. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang didapat dari penelitian ini berupa hasil wawancara bersama guru terkait penerapan proses penerapan model discovery learning dengan pemanfaatan media digital storytelling, hasil observasi, hasil dokumentasi, serta hasil proyek siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru dengan baik menerapkan model discovery learning dengan pemanfaatan media digital storytelling pada pembelajaran menulis cerpen di kelas IX, sesuai dengan langkah-langkah pembelajaran discovery learning, mulai dari tahap merancang RPP, melaksanakan, serta mengevaluasi. Kemudian siswa juga menjadi lebih aktif dan fokus ketika mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa sesuai dengan struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan tergolong sangat mampu. Kata Kunci: Discovery learning, Menulis cerpen, Digital storytelling This research aims to describe the application of the Discovery Learning Model using Digital Storytelling Media in Learning to Write Short Stories Class IX. The subjects of this research were Indonesian language subject teachers in class IX as the main participants and class IX students as supporting participants. This research approach is descriptive qualitative. The data obtained from this research are the results of interviews with teachers regarding the implementation of the discovery learning model process using digital storytelling media, observation results, documentation results, and student project results. Based on the results of this research, it shows that teachers are well implementing the discovery learning model by using digital storytelling media in learning to write short stories in class IX, in accordance with the discovery learning steps, starting from the stage of designing lesson plans, implementing, and evaluate. Then students also become more active and focused when following the learning process. Students' ability to write short stories according to structure and linguistic rules is classified as very capable. Keywords: Discovery learning, Writ estory, Digital storytelling
