Abstract

Penelitian ini sangat mendesak dilakukan mengingat pentingnya pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi komitmen kerja guru, yang merupakan elemen kunci dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Di tengah dinamika pendidikan yang terus berkembang, gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif kepala sekolah, kompetensi profesional, dan keterlibatan kerja guru perlu dieksplorasi secara komprehensif untuk menemukan strategi efektif dalam memperkuat komitmen guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif kepala sekolah, kompetensi profesional dan keterlibatan kerja guru terhadap komitmen kerja guru. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif melalui Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) aplikasi yang digunakan yaitu SmartPLS 3.2.9. Data yang dikumpulkan pada setiap variabel tersebut merupakan fakta yang telah terjadi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru sebanyak 241 orang di SMK Negeri 1 Kota Jambi dan SMK Negeri 2 Kota Jambi. Teknik yang peneliti gunakan untuk menentukan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling. Dari hasil perhitungan pengambilan sampel, diperoleh hasil 120 orang guru digunakan sebagai subyek penelitian (responden). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Gaya Kepemimpinan Partisipatif Kepala Sekolah (X1) diprediksi mempengaruhi Komitmen Kerja Guru (Y) sebesar 0,165 (16,5%). Selanjutnya Kompetensi Profesional Guru (X2) diprediksi mempengaruhi Komitmen Kerja Guru (Y) sebesar 0,38 (38%). Keterlibatan Kerja Guru (X3) diprediksi mempengaruhi Komitmen Kerja Guru (Y) sebesar 0,365 (36,5%). Gaya Kepemimpinan Partisipatif Kepala Sekolah (X1), Kompetensi Profesional Guru (X2) dan Keterlibatan Kerja Guru (X3) diprediksi mempengaruhi Komitmen Kerja Guru (Y) dilihat dari R Square sebesar 0,625 (62,5%). This research is urgent given the importance of a deeper understanding of the factors that influence teachers' work commitment, which is a key element in improving the quality of education. In the midst of the evolving dynamics of education, principals' participatory leadership style, professional competence and teacher work engagement need to be comprehensively explored to find effective strategies in strengthening teacher commitment. This study aims to determine the effect of principals' participative leadership style, professional competence and teacher work engagement on teachers' work commitment. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the application used is SmartPLS 3.2.9. The data collected on each variable is a fact that has occurred. This research is a survey research. The population used in this study were 241 teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Jambi City and SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City. The technique that researchers use to determine the sample in this study uses random sampling techniques. From the results of the sampling calculation, 120 teachers were used as research subjects (respondents). The results showed that the Principal's Participative Leadership Style (X1) was predicted to affect Teacher Work Commitment (Y) by 0.165 (16.5%). Furthermore, Teacher Professional Competence (X2) is predicted to affect Teacher Work Commitment (Y) by 0.38 (38%). Teacher Work Engagement (X3) is predicted to affect Teacher Work Commitment (Y) by 0.365 (36.5%).
