Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan permasalahan beberapa tenaga kependidikan bidang administrasi dalam pelaksanaan tugas pokok dan fungsi di SMA Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. Kurang optimalnya pelaksanaan tugas pokok dan fungsi di bidang administrasi yang akan berdampak pada kegiatan pengadministrasian keuangan. Kemudian, kurangnya pengembangan keterampilan administrasi sekolah dalam pelaksanaan tupoksi di bidang-bidang administrasi sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan tugas pokok dan fungsi tenaga kependidikan, faktor pendukung dan faktor peghambat dalam pelaksanaan tugas pokok dan fungsi tenaga kependidikan.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, kepala sub bagian tata usaha, administrasi kepegawaian, administrasi keuangan, administrasi sarana dan prasarana, administrasi humas, administrasi persuratan dan pengarsipan, admnistrasi kesiswaan dan administrasi kurikulum. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Menggunakan triangulasi untuk menguji keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, terdapat faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanakan tugas pokok dan fungsi tenaga kependidikan, yaitu semangat pegawai dalam mengembangkan keterampilannya dan suasana kerja yang nyaman dan rekan kerja yang mendukung. Terdapat faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanakan tugas pokok dan fungsi tenaga kependidikan, yaitu kurangnya pelatihan untuk peningkatan kompetensi pegawai untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tenaga kependidikan dan keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tupoksi administrasi yang tidak dilakukan oleh pegawai yang seharusnya dilaksanakan oleh pegawai tenaga administrasi. This research was motivated by the problems of several educational staff in the administrative field in carrying out their main duties and functions at SMA Negeri 5 Jambi City. Less than optimal implementation of basic tasks and functions in the administrative sector which will have an impact on financial administration activities. Then, there is a lack of development of school administration skills in implementing the main tasks and functions in the areas of school administration. This research aims to describe the implementation of the main duties and functions of educational staff, supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the main duties and functions of educational staff. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection through interviews, documentation and observation. The subjects of this research are school principals, heads of administrative sub�divisions, personnel administration, financial administration, facilities and infrastructure administration, public relations administration, correspondence and archiving administration, student affairs administration and curriculum administration. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Using triangulation to test the validity of the data. The research results show that there are supporting factors in carrying out the main tasks and functions of educational staff, namely the enthusiasm of employees in developing their skills and a comfortable working atmosphere and supportive co-workers. There are inhibiting factors in implementing the main tasks and functions of educational staff, namely the lack of training to increase employee competency to improve the ability of educational staff and limited facilities and infrastructure. The conclusion shows that there are administrative duties that are not carried out by employees that should be carried out by administrative staff.
