Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yang ditemukan dalam pembelajaran, yaitu masih ada siswa yang kesulitan dalam menulis teks berita. Dalam memahami isi, unsur-unsur, dan penggunaan kosa kata, pengembangan tulisan, penentuan masalah, struktur, kaidah teks berita, pengembangan kalimat, penggunaan tanda baca dan kepaduan serta model pembelajaran yang masih sederhana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dalam pembelajaran teks berita. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah modul ajar, evaluasi, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian modul ajar yang dibuat oleh guru memuat semua komponen modul ajar yang sesuai dengan kurikulum merdeka. Selain itu, kegiatan pembelajaran telah terlaksana dengan baik sesuai dengan modul ajar dan langkah-langkah penerapan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw mulai dari siswa dikelompokkan ke dalam kelompok kecil, anggota kelompok memiliki materi berbeda-beda, tiap anggota kelompok bertanggung jawab penuh terhadap materinya, anggota dari kelompok lain bertemu dengan anggota yang memiliki materi atau subbab yang sama, anggota kembali ke kelompok inti, anggota kelompok yang kembali membagikan dan mempresentasikan materinya, guru memberikan evaluasi serta refleksi dan kegiatan penutup sehingga hal ini menghasilkan kegiatan pembelajaran yang efisien. This research is motivated by the problems found in learning, namely that there are still students who have difficulty in writing news texts. In understanding the content, elements, and use of vocabulary, writing development, problem determination, structure, rules of news texts, sentence development, the use of punctuation and cohesion as well as a learning model that is still simple. This study aims to describe the application of the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model in news text learning. The method used in the research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The data sources in this study are teaching modules, evaluation, interviews, observations, and documentation.This data collection technique uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research, the teaching module made by the teacher contains all the components of the teaching module that are in accordance with the independent curriculum. In addition, learning activities have been carried out well in accordance with the teaching module and the steps to implement the jigsaw-type cooperative model starting from students being grouped into small groups, group members have different materials, each group member is fully responsible for the material, members from other groups meet members who have the same material or subchapters, members return to the core group, Group members who returned to share and present their material, the teacher provided evaluations and reflections and closing activities so that this resulted in efficient learning activities.
