Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan hasil pengamatan peneliti di lapangan yang menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan seksual anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi 1 Kota Jambi yang masih belum berkembang secara optimal. Hal ini dibuktikan pada saat observasi awal di kelas B2 sebagian anak belum bisa menyebutkan bagian tubuh yang boleh dan tidak boleh disentuh oleh orang lain. Selain itu, di sekolah tersebut masih belum menggunakan variasi media pembelajaran dalam memberikan pengetahuan seksual kepada anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran busy book terhadap pengetahuan seksual anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi 1 Kota Jambi. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran busy book terhadap pengetahuan seksual anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi 1 Kota Jambi?”. Hipotesis penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran busy book terhadap pengetahuan seksual anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi 1 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan bentuk One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 44 anak, dan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 15 anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan pembahasan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran busy book terhadap pengetahuan seksual anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi 1 Kota Jambi yang dibuktikan dengan nilai t hitung 20,601 > t tabel 2,145, maka sebagaimana dasar pengambilan keputusan disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dari perhitungan effect size dengan menggunakan rumus cohen’s maka didapatkan hasil sebesar 2,76 sehingga masuk dalam interpretasi strong effect. This research was motivated by the results of observations by researchers in the field which showed that the sexual knowledge of children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten Pertiwi 1 Jambi City was still not developing optimally. This was proven during initial observations in class B2, some of the children could not name the parts of the body that other people could and could not touch. Apart from that, this school still does not use a variety of learning media to provide sexual knowledge to children. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using busy book learning media on the sexual knowledge of children aged 5-6 years at Pertiwi 1 Kindergarten, Jambi City. The formulation of the problem in this research is "Is there an influence of the use of busy book learning media on the sexual knowledge of children aged 5-6 years at Pertiwi 1 Kindergarten, Jambi City?". The hypothesis of this research is that there is an influence of the use of busy book learning media on the sexual knowledge of children aged 5-6 years at Pertiwi 1 Kindergarten, Jambi City. This research is a type of quantitative research using experimental methods. The design used in the research is Pre-Experimental Design in the form of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population in this study was 44 children, and the sample in this study was 15 children. The sampling technique used in the research is Purposive Sampling. The data collection technique used in the research is an observation sheet. The data analysis techniques used in the research are normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. Based on the discussion of the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of busy book learning media on the sexual knowledge of children aged 5-6 years at Pertiwi 1 Kindergarten, Jambi City as evidenced by the t value of 20.601 > t table 2.145, so this is the basis for decision making. it is concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the calculation of the effect size using the Cohen's formula, a result of 2.76 is obtained so it is included in the strong effect interpretation.
