Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peran Guru PPKn Dalam Menanamkan Civic Disposition Bagi Peserta Didik SMA N 5 Merangin dan hambatan yang dialami guru PPKn dalam menanamkan civic disposition. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh peserta didik di SMA N 5 Merangin belum mencerminkan civic disposition. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Informan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari lima orang yang meliputi, informan utama dan informan kunci. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas data yang digunakan yaitu, triangulasi teknik, triangulasi sumber, dan triangulasi waktu. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PPKn sudah menanamkan civic disposition kepada siswa sesuai dengan indikator civic disposition yaitu 1) Sikap disiplin peserta didik, 2) Tanggung jawab peserta didik, 3) Menghargai hak setiap individu, 4) Kesopanan, 5). Musyawarah, 6) Peduli terhadap sesama, dan 7) Kerja sama. Namun, meskipun guru telah menanamkan civic disposition, seperti memberikan teladan, memberikan contoh, mengajarkan etika dalam berinteraksi, memberikan umpan balik positif, mendengarkan pendapat siswa dengan terbuka, dan memfasilitasi diskusi yang produktif. Metode yang digunakan oleh guru tidak berhasil tersampaikan kepada peserta didik sehingga masih ada peserta didik yang tidak memiliki civic disposition. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan penulis pada guru dan siswa terdapat beberapa penghambat seperti kurangnya komunikasi antarsiswa dengan orang tua, dan orang tua dan guru, kemudian lingkungan keluarga dan sosial yang berbeda- beda, kurangnya motivasi siswa dan Siswa kurang memiliki empati atau kesadaran sosial. This research aims to determine the role of PPKn teachers in instilling Civic Disposition for SMA N 5 Merangin Students and the obstacles that arise Civics teachers experience in instilling a civic disposition. This research is based on The background of students at SMA N 5 Merangin does not yet reflect civics disposition. This research uses a qualitative approach to this type of research descriptive. The informants in this study consisted of five people including, main informants and key informants. Data collection techniques used including, observation, interviews, and documentation. Test the validity of the data used, namely, technical triangulation, source triangulation, and time triangulation. The data analysis technique is carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that PPKn teachers have instilled civics disposition towards students is in accordance with the civic disposition indicators, namely 1) Attitude student discipline, 2) Student responsibility, 3) Respect each person's rights individual, 4) Politeness, 5). Deliberation, 6) Caring for others, and 7) Work The same. However, even though teachers have instilled a civic disposition, such as provide an example, provide an example, teach ethics in interactions, provide positive feedback, listen to students' opinions openly, and facilitate productive discussions. The method used by the teacher is not successfully conveyed to students so that there are still students who does not have a civic disposition. Based on the results of research conducted by the author on teachers and students, there are several obstacles such as lack of communication between students and parents, and parents and teachers, then different family and social environments different, lack of student motivation and students lacking empathy or social awareness.
