Abstract
Media pembelajaran e-magazine merupakan suatu media yang berbentuk elektronik dari majalah yang dirancang khusus untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran e-magazine pada materi kimia hijau ini berbasis pendekatan SEL (Social Emotional Learning). Pendekatan SEL adalah proses dimana siswa mengembangkan kompetensi-kompetensi sosial emosionalnya seperti kepedulian terhadap orang lain, membangun hubungan yang positif, membuat keputusan yang bertanggung jawab dan memenuhi tuntutan untuk berkembang dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan media pembelajaran e-magazine berbasis pendekatan SEL pada materi kimia hijau dan mengetahui tingkat kelayakan e-magazine secara konseptual dan praktikal di sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan Lee and Owens yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Hasil analisis menyatakan bahwa siswa membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang tampilannya menarik dan kedalaman isi materi yang mudah dipahami juga dapat digunakan kapanpun dan dimanapun. Sehingga didesain lah media pembelajaran e-magazine sesuai kebutuhan siswa. Produk hasil pengembangan ini kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli media dan materi serta dilakukan penilaian guru sebelum dilakukan uji coba produk dalam kelompok kecil pada siswa kelas X Fase E2 SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini mendapatkan rerata skor oleh ahli media sebesar 4,6 dengan kategori “sangat layak” dan rerata skor ahli materi sebesar 4,6 dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Selanjutnya hasil penilaian guru mata pelajaran kimia didapatkan rerata skor sebesar 4,75 dengan kategori “sangat baik” dan memperoleh persentase respon siswa sebesar 91,07% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk e-magazine yang telah dikembangkan layak secara konseptual dan layak digunakan secara praktikal sebagai suatu sumber belajar bagi siswa. E-magazine learning media is an electronic media from a magazine that is specifically designed to help teachers and students in learning activities. The e-magazine learning media on this green chemistry material is based on the SEL (Social Emotional Learning) approach. The SEL approach is a process by which students develop their social emotional competencies such as caring for others, building positive relationships, making responsible decisions and meeting the demands to develop in society. This study aims to determine the process of developing e-magazine learning media based on the SEL approach to green chemistry material and to determine the level of conceptual and practical feasibility of e-magazines in schools. This study is a development research using the Lee and Owens development model which consists of several stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results of the analysis state that students need learning media that has an attractive appearance and depth of content that is easy to understand and can also be used anytime and anywhere. So that the e-magazine learning media is designed according to student needs. The product of this development was then validated by media and material experts and teacher assessments were carried out before product trials were carried out in small groups on class X Phase E2 students of SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi. The analysis techniques used were qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study obtained an average score by media experts of 4.6 with the category "very feasible" and an average score by material experts of 4.6 with the category "very feasible". Furthermore, the results of the assessment of chemistry subject teachers obtained an average score of 4.75 with the category "very good" and obtained a percentage of student responses of 91.07% with the category "very good". Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the e-magazine product that has been developed is conceptually feasible and practical for use as a learning resource for students.
