Abstract

Karya Di Balik Rembulan ini terinspirasi dari Tradisi Lisan Pantang Larang Melayu yang berada di Desa Teluk Majelis, Kecamatan Kuala Jambi, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, dimana tradisi ini memuat tentang sebab-akibat yang ditimbulkan apabila melanggar isi dari pantang larang itu sendiri. Karya Di Balik Rembulan merupakan hasil interpretasi kisah perjalanan hidup keluarga inti yang terdiri dari ibu dan anak, dimana pasti memiliki permasalahan dan perselisihan yang terjadi diantara keduanya. Penggarapan karya Di Balik Rembulan disusun dengan gerak yang berlandaskan pijakan pada gerak Silat Sindeng Melayu sebagai pertahanan diri dalam menghadapi situasi tersebut. The work Di Balik Rembulan is inspired by the Malay Pantang Forbidden Oral Tradition in Teluk Majlis Village, Kuala Jambi District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency, where this tradition contains about the causes and consequences that arise if you violate the contents of the taboos and prohibitions themselves. The work Di Balik Rembulan is the result of an interpretation of the story of the life journey of a nuclear family consisting of a mother and child, which inevitably has problems and disputes that occur between the two. The creation of the work Di Balik Rembulan is structured using movements that are based on movement Malay Sindeng Silat as self-defense in facing this situation.
