Abstract
An e-pocket book, also known as a digital pocket book, is a combination of a pocket book and a small digital book that contains all the information the reader needs. This e-pocket book is delivered using a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) approach. This research aims to determine the feasibility of STEM-based e-pocket books according to material experts and media experts, determine the assessment of chemistry study teachers and determine students' responses to the media developed. This research is development research using the Lee & Owens development model. The research instruments used were interview sheets and questionnaires. The product development results are validated by media experts and material experts, carried out by practitioners by teachers and then tested in one-on-one and small group trials. The analysis techniques used are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis The results of this research were obtained from material experts and media experts respectively with percentages of 91.76% and 89.30% in the Very Appropriate category. Furthermore, the teacher's assessment was obtained with a percentage of 90.76% in the Very Appropriate category, as well as responses from students with a percentage of one-on-one trials and small group trials of 76% and 88.62% respectively with Very Good criteria. Based on the development and research results, it can be concluded that STEM-based e-pocket books are suitable for use as a medium in chemistry learning. Keywords: e-Pocket Book, STEM, Creative Thinking, Green Chemistry.
