Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Manajemen digital leadership oleh kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dalam penggunaan digital platform, serta memahami kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapannya di SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, serta tenaga pendidik/guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digital leadership yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi kerja guru. Berbagai platform digital, seperti CBT, ARKAS, E-Kinerja, Canva, Kahoot, dan Quizizz, telah dimanfaatkan dalam administrasi sekolah serta proses pembelajaran. Namun, implementasi teknologi masih menghadapi kendala, terutama terkait keterampilan digital guru dan keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi. Beberapa guru mengalami kesulitan dalam mengadaptasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran, sedangkan akses terhadap perangkat digital dan konektivitas internet yang belum optimal menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya lebih lanjut berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan agar transformasi digital di sekolah dapat berjalan lebih optimal. This study aims to describe the management of digital leadership by the principal on teacher performance in using digital platforms, as well as to understand the obstacles faced in its implementation at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through case studies. The subjects of the study consisted of the principal, vice principal for curriculum, and educators/teachers. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data validity techniques used data triangulation. The results of the study show that digital leadership implemented by the principal plays an important role in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of teacher work. Various digital platforms, such as CBT, ARKAS, E-Kinerja, Canva, Kahoot, and Quizizz, have been utilized in school administration and the learning process. However, the implementation of technology still faces obstacles, especially related to teachers' digital skills and limited technological infrastructure. Some teachers have difficulty adapting technology in learning, while access to digital devices and suboptimal internet connectivity is a challenge in itself. Therefore, further efforts are needed in the form of training and mentoring so that digital transformation in schools can run more optimally.
