Abstract

Singkut, Kab. This study aims to explain the procedural stages in the development of interactive multimedia based on the Google Sites platform, supported by Wordwall educational games, for teaching ratio material in Grade VI mathematics at elementary school. It also seeks to describe the validity level of the developed product as well as its practicality when implemented in the classroom. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), applying the DDD-E model (Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate) as the basis for the product development process. The data collected in this study consists of both qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data were obtained through interviews and observations, while the quantitative data were derived from expert validator scores and practicality questionnaires filled out by students and teachers. The research was conducted at SDN 135/VII Pasar Singkut II, Singkut District, Sarolangun Regency, Jambi Province, from February 28 to March 28, 2025. The outcome of this research and development process is an interactive multimedia product based on the Google Sites platform, supported by Wordwall educational games, designed to facilitate the learning of ratio material in Grade VI mathematics. The development process followed the stages of the DDD-E model. The average product validity scores from expert validators are as follows: the media validation received a final score of 4.49, which falls into the “very valid” category; the material validation received a score of 4.33, also in the “very valid” category; and the language validation received a score of 4.44, again classified as “very valid.” Regarding product practicality, the average scores obtained from the teacher response questionnaires reached 4.93, indicating a “very practical” rating. Student responses in small group trials yielded a score of 4.87, while the large group trials received a score of 4.86, both of which are categorized as “very practical.” Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the interactive multimedia product based on the Google Sites platform, supported by Wordwall educational games for teaching ratio material in Grade VI mathematics at the elementary school level, has successfully gone through the stages of the DDD-E development model and is considered valid, practical, and ready for use in classroom learning.
