Abstract

Makam kuno Islam batu marmer merupakan objek utama dalam penelitian ini, yang mana makam kuno islam batu marmer ini tersebar di Desa Kuta Krueng dan Desa Mancang kedua Desa tersebut terletak di Kecamatan Samudera, Kabupaten Aceh Utara,Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui klasifikasi ragam hias di makam kuno islam batu marmer di aceh utara, dan untuk mengetahui makna yang terkandung pada ragam hias makam kuno Islam batu marmer di Aceh Utara penelitian ini melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, pengolahan data analisis. interpretasi. dan kesimpulan. Metode pendeskripsian analisis dan klasifikasi ragam hias pada makam kuno Islam batu marmer dilakukan dengan metode semiotika Roland Barthes Makam kuno İslam Batu marmer di Aceh Utara memiliki Ragam hias yang beragam., ragam hias ini dibuat sebagai penghormatan masyarakat terhadap tokoh yang dimakamkan di makam batu marmer tersebut karena dianggap suci dan berpengaruh sehingga harus dimuliakan. The ancient Islamic marble tombs are the main objects in this study, where the ancient Islamic marble tombs are spread across Kuta Krueng Village and Mancang Village, both of which are located in Samudera District, North Aceh Regency. This study aims to determine the classification of decorative motifs in ancient Islamic marble tombs in North Aceh, and to determine the meaning contained in the decorative motifs of ancient Islamic marble tombs in North Aceh. This study went through several stages, namely data collection, data processing, analysis, interpretation, and conclusions. The method of describing the analysis and classification of decorative motifs in ancient Islamic marble tombs was carried out using the Roland Barthes semiotic method. Ancient Islamic marble tombs in North Aceh have various decorative motifs. These decorative motifs are made as a form of respect for the community towards the figures buried in the marble tombs because they are considered sacred and influential so they must be glorified.
