Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi berdasarkan hasil pengamatan penelitian dilapangan yang menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan motorik halus anak belum berkembang secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan bermain clay berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK pembina muara tembesi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental designs. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data melibatkan pre-test dan post-test, serta uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji-t pada data yang berdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan bermain clay sangat signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak, seperti ditunjukan oleh hasil uji-t t hitung (24,617) > t tabel (2,160). Dengan rumus cohen’s terdapat nilai 3,78 yang berada pada rentang >1 dengan interpretasi kuat (Strong Effect). Kesimpulannya, bahwa terdapat pengaruh kegiatan bermain clay berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Negeri Pembina Muara Tembesi. This research is based on the results of research observations in the field which show that children's fine motor skills have not developed optimally. This study aims to determine the effect of project-based clay play activities on the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years at Pembina Muara Tembesi Kindergarten. This study uses a pre-experimental design method. The sampling technique is carried out using purposive sampling. Data collection involves pre-test and post-test, and hypothesis testing is carried out using a t-test on normally distributed data. The results of the study show that clay play activities significantly improve children's fine motor skills, as shown by the results of the t-test t count (24.617)> t table (2.160). With the Cohen's formula there is a value of 3.78 which is in the range> 1 with a strong interpretation (Strong Effect). In conclusion, there is an influence of project-based clay play activities on the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years at Pembina Muara Tembesi State Kindergarten.
